Dyan Sila Kilala sa pag produce Ng mga magagandang historical series one of example are AMAYA(pre Hispanic time) at INDIO (early Spanish colonization) kaya Wala talaga akong ika pangangamba sa mga historical Series nila dahil alam Kong magaling silang mag research at galamay na galamay na nila ito.
Hiling ko nga noon na sana Ang gma Ang mag produce Ng kay binibining mia na story Kasi magaling Sila sa ganoong genre Ng story but sad to say to say under na siya sa abs-cbn, still hoping na mabigyan yon Ng series but up until now Wala pa din😭😭😭
But it's alright at least may closer story or same timeline na akong mapapanood and very excited to this series kung ano Ang magiging takbo nito since DISTRUPTION si barbie sa novel story since she came from the present, there possibility na may romance si Klay at ibarra.

Hello, fellow bisaya here. I believe that english is less spoken during those times. There were people who went to Europe to study that's why Crisostomo Ibarra was able to speak english.
I feel like that GMA won't change the plot and Ibarra won't fall in love with Klay. According to their creative consultant and head writer, they have historians on the whole process so I feel like they will still follow the original plot.

yep, spanish and tagalog were mostly spoken at that time but there are people who were sent to Europe to study (mostly men bcs u know…) so it’s kinda required for them to atleast learn english but there are also women (mostly from elite families) who knew how to write and read english. I don’t know how but my guess is that they learned it from reading or they left the country at a young age and have lived in Europe for a long time to know English.

It feels like... What if Klay had gone back to the present time and decided to leave Crisostomo behind? That dialogue felt like a wakeup call for Klay that she shouldn't have left Crisostomo if she truly loved him.
Or maybe I'm over analyzing. LOL. I loved this kind of shows that even if it wasn't started yet, I already theorizing 😂
I have also thought about that as well omg! I have been thinking none stop about angsty goodbyes between Crisostomo and Clay because of that line.

It's because of her father is abusive, hence the line "pag mahal mo hindi mo sinasaktan". She wants to advise her mother to leave her father, but her mother said when you love someone, you also don't leave them.
She can't stay in the book she needs to return. 🥲 Sadly, she will definitely see the sad and tragic ending of Maria Clara and Ibarra...
I think that conversation is more fitting to Maria Clara and Ibarra's love story too...since Maria Clara truly loves Ibarra kahit a lot of people are against him na. Masakit man pero di niya iniwan until the end Lalo na Ng malaman niyang Patay na toh...she chose to be a nun instead of getting married off to a diff guy...magpapakamatay pa nga siya kapag pinagbawalan siyang mag madre eh.
The iniwan part from her mom is for her father, iniwan sila ng tatay niya, na buntis lng kasi mama niya, ung kasama nila stedad niya, and my stepbro din siya

Underrated na for several ang story na Noli me tangere at el filibusterismo but if you have read several things about rizal and his work you will know how deep the stories are and still connected sa panahon ngayon…yes they do speak english back then Pero sa mga mayayaman lang to tinuturo at mostly sa mga lalake walang privilege ang mga babae at mahihirap sa edukasyon na meron tayo ngayon

Actually it was based on Jose Rizal Noli me tangere, and also Rizal can speak I guess 7 languages so it is not impossible if they include some English word into that novel. ( I'm not sure if it had a English word)

To answer the thing about English, yes the really educated, elite ones can speak it (Rizal was one of them), lastly for the underwear thing, I don't think corsets were a thing for us here since our clothes did not require the same shape and structure as the ones from the west. Our undergarments as far as i know included linen chemise or sando, and layers of linen skirts (which can be likened to petticoats). Idk if they wore anything under that but it's fairly common even in the west to have nothing underneath the skirts lmao

So I just stumbled upon your channel, and it seems that you were insulted about the fact that Andrea Torres was casted as Sisa. So how did you liked her performance now that you have seen the show?
Oh no I am not insulted. I just wanted a morena character for Sisa. In my defense, I do not know Andrea Torres and any GMA actresses for that matter so I do not know that she's a legit morena. I thought it was just makeup. Performance wise, Andrea is great. I enjoyed watching her as Sisa.
