I went to the Netherlands in December 2017 for work from Bangalore. I was only there for a week. On the day I was supposed to leave, there was this unexpected heavy snowfall that stopped all the public transport. The whole city went into panic mode, with everyone trying to get home as quickly as possible in their own cars. As an outsider relying entirely on public transport and without a cell phone, I had to walk from HTC to the city center through four feet of snow, completely soaked, and no one offered me a ride. In Bangalore, even if there’s a curfew, some random stranger will help you get home safely.
Edit: I'm not trying to show the Netherlands in a bad light-people there are generally helpful. But when things go wrong, they panic quickly, and it becomes every man for himself. Before leaving, I went to a local bar, and the bartender asked how my experience in the Netherlands had been so far. I told him this story, and he apologized that I had to go through that and offered me a free beer.
I live in lithuania i once fell of bikecycle and broke both hands i was all bloody and wounded and i walked 3 kilometers home and no one bother to ask if i need help
@@LADA_Vesta_CROSS6855 Sometimes people want to help but are too scared to help.
I don't think Lithuanians would be unhelpful people. It might be just that they express themselves differently.
European is not as helpful and hospitiable like Us. They don't care about others. I have seen European themself say about this.
True .in Europe it is like that .In US it is much better
i think its not like they dont want to help if we ask them they will help for sure i mean most of them... main difference in india and west is we live with the society engaged in society every now and then every month we celebrate together due to one festival or another that why we are attached to these things. and in west people mind their own things
The Indian subcontinent was divided on the basis of religion primary Hindu and Muslim. Muslims don't want to live with hindus in the same country so India was partitioned between muslim majority Pakistan and Hindu majority India after that so many muslims choose to live in India and so many times complaint about it after dividing India and formed their seperate Islamic nation Pakistan. So that's the whole story by the way A person (Dr.BABASAHAB AMBEDKAR, belongs to a lower cast)who wrote THE CONSTITUTION of India said I BORN AS HINDU DOESN'T DIED AS ONE. And afterwards writes the constitution of India and in France a newspaper published a carton of PROPHET MOHAMMAD and some Islamist beheaded those poor people. I hope these stories gives you the better understanding about which religion is tolerant, more free, believe in coexistence and which is not
This chap is interested in a muslim
Chap, whose befriended him . Born in uk now, live in Portugal. The Dutch chap is probably not straight .No rich designers leave Holland. THE WEST IS FULL OF BROKE MIDDLE AGED MEN .GOOGLE IN UK AND REST MANY WHITES DON'T OWN THEIR HOMES . GO WITH VERY LITTLE TO ASIA . AT ONE TIME THEY WENT FROM UK ,HOLLAND AND GERMANY TO SIT IN CHEAP SPAIN OR PORTUGAL BUT NOW BOTH COUNTRIES ESPECIALLY ARE EXPENSIVE AND CHECK INCOME AND CHARGE TAX ON INCOMES .MANY GO TO THAILAND FROM UK AND EUROPE. I WISH PEOPLE WOULD NOT TELL HIM LIES . HE LIVES IN BANGALORE IN A BAD AREA AND FORGETS THE RECENT TERRORIST ATTACK. IN 5 YEARS HE CLAIMS TO KNOW INDIANS.I HAVE LIVED IN PORTUGAL FOR 11 AND STILL DONT KNOW IT LIKE UK WHERE I GREW UP . MUSLIMS LOOK FOR SYMPATHY. HE SAYS LESS MUSLIMS ,,MORE HINDUS, BUT NO ONE TOLD HIM MUSLIMS TOOK PAKISTAN AND NOW WHAT IS BANGLADESH .🎉
India is pretty much intolerant against ANY other religon. Its not just about Islam, same with Christianity. Not for every Indian of course, but definitly a significant amount. Even many laws are completely intolerant against religions, many people believe in stupid bullshit conspiracy theories like love jihad, a lot of people agree on "to be a true indian, you have to be hindu". Dont want to destroy your bubble, but this country is intolerant, waaayyyyyy to nationalistic and optimistic for the standard of living and far away from doing well. At lot of things have improved, especially the economy, but there is still so much shit going on which is simply ignored. And yes, I know this account is just about worshiping, but I can guarantee you, usually this is not the point of view from most foreigners.
Nein.
He alone didn't write the entire constitution. It shows you hardly know anything other than parroting the lies. Als Deutscher I'm close to Indien than you ever could be!
You should also explain the concept of Dar al-Islam and Dar al-Harb and thoughts of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on it.
U forget to mention what Dr.B.R AMBEDKAR said about ISLAM. This is what he said --- "ISLAM IS DIVISIVE , ISLAM DIVIDES MUSLIMS INTO 2 Groups... Muslims & Non-Muslims. ISLAM is not Universal Brotherhood of man. IT IS BROTHERHOOD OF MUSLIMS FOR MUSLIMS ONLY WITH HATRED AGAINST NON-MUSLIMS."
As a Singaporean of Indian (Punjabi) descent, this guy has really opened my mind to a whole new perspective of India. Growing up in Singapore, or any other country I guess, you get used to hearing a lot of misinformation and crap about India. Thanks Paul, I look forward to taking a trip there sometime.
PS: That monthly rent he mentioned would basically buy me dinner at a mid-tier restaurant in Singapore.
Negative opinions are largely based on Delhi NCR. I'm not saying rest of the nation is super safe but in general they are safe. Visit Punjab. It's a great state. I'm from South of India.
@@myspace1876 What south indians hate delhi so much?
Not just south India, not ralking about whole Delhi, but the visuals we see in social media creates that perception. And I from North India here and delhi is too much crowded as compared to other cities, and the life in tier 2 cities is very different.@@piyush-singh
@@ROHITKumar-gl6mm I know this as I have experienced it myself. But the population of Delhiites didn't suddenly grew to this extent. Trust me this wasn't the case 7-8 years ago, I lived in Mumbai for 6 years but before that I used to live in Delhi and the crowd was highly manageable and almost all the roads were open and you could drive a car without any issue.
But now since AAP has made electricity and water free, it has brought large number of migrants from Bihar. Most of the E-rickshaws are unregistered and they also get to charge it for free. Also, they don't follow any rules and create ruckus almost everyday.
Additionally, almost every segment of car size has increased significantly. Now a hatchback's size is close to a mini SUV and now everyone wants to buy an SUV, which is even bigger. Plus, the metro network have been expanded to outer regions of Delhi NCR, which is now bringing more people (chapri) who do not even know how to behave in public.
Basically, Delhiites are the ones who are paying taxes and still suffering as most of us are either government employee or atleast come from a family where one of the parent is.
But these political parties are now shifting the vote bank by bringing even more Biharis and then making their bihari politicians to stand in the elections to gather votes i.e. Manoj Tiwari, Kanhaiya Kumar.

In India we don't have stray dogs. We have community dogs. Dogs that have evolved with humans for thousands of years. It's impossible to imagine an Indian village without community animals - 'stray' is a western concept. It is the west that has gone 'astray' not us.
Exactly.

That rent is cheap but its a dangerous situation to live in a place filled with concrete everywhere. No empty grounds, trees, lawns are left by the town planning department (if one exists). The water scarcity now experienced by Bangaloreans is the result of rapid urbanization in the past 15 years. Lakes were not spared by the land Mafia. Please do not see it with aslam's eye. You are right when you wanted to raise your concern over the garbage issue. Throwing garbage on the road or through the window is not okay. Not at all. Most people like him do that and try to justify. My friend even does that but after much nagging had stopped throwing plastic on road side. There are proper dustbins provided for that purpose. And underprivileged people can collect plastics from the garbage mountain where all the garbage from the city is thrown. It's better that way than making the city look unclean. Thank you.

Max, I have an awkward question, if Indians or people from other parts of the world (developing nations) live in the more developed western nations they are called “Immigrants” while we use the word “Expats” for the converse? Should we not ideally use the same word as they are more or less mean the same. Having said that I love your videos as they are insightful and natural. It is important to remove the facade and bring to the fore the happiness, sadness, anger, frustrations, excitement and every emotion possible. India is a multi-cultural country with a multitude of languages, religious beliefs, casts orientations, regional disparities, economic disparities. Despite all this, the Country still tries its best to move forward with all this baggage and slowly, surely, inevitably and eventually we will carve a niche out for ourselves.
Immigrants is a term for people who want to move permanently. Expat is a term for people moving temporarily with a job with no intention to stay unto death. Also immigration is a term used for large numbers and expats for small numbers.

It's not like anyone is trying to get along with anyone. That's why partition happened. That's why police stations got burnt down over a cartoon right there in Bangalore just a few years back. Or had 'Sar Tan Se Juda' rallies for calling their religion intolerant. The irony! Is that a sign of trying to get along? Why would anyone try to get along with such a community, unless out of fear? Serious introspection is needed when making such statements like 'trying to get along'.

but hundreds. their cost in terms of lack of sleep, bites and general hygiene is high. But stupidity and false humanity reigns like in the comment section. Not only had govt policy failed but also legions of unmarried people finding saving their souls in feeding strays thus exponentially multiplying their numbers
I'd like to point out his point about throwing garbage anywhere:
I went to this restaurant and whilst I came out, a worker there tossed a packet of leftovers onto the street, like it was a garbage cannister.
I was disgusted by it because affording a garbage bin would've been nothing to this restaurant.
These are little things that improve the quality of living.
Make your motherland proud, don't insult her by throwing garbage onto the streets.
Has he set aside a day in his life when he finally will count the NUMBER OF PANDAS on HIS JACKET ???????
Basically stray dogs are for social security from thieves all other animals which are not inhabiting in that area.
Therefore there is meaning of social security to barking of these animals.
You can necessarily think that there are some foreign animals or thief which has entered into the area for sure.
And keep yourself alert.
absolutely
Not true at all, stray dogs are a threat, there are many incidents and still no actions. Children are the main victims there. It’s a shame that India can’t deal with this problem efficiently. Don’t just justify everything, criticise where criticism needed

Definition of oppressor in the Qur'an:
'wa al kafiroon humu al zalimoon' - Kafir is the Oppressor (by denying belief) 2.254
'Asshirk lazulmu aazeem' - Idolatry is great oppression/injustice 31.13
next level: Jihad is obligatory to fight oppression
Fundamentals in a nutshell.
Religious fights happen when one religion tries to say or believes it’s better than the other or tries to convert the other to his or does not accept the other as valid
Generally, it's true. But in the case of India and Hinduism, the fight is not between two religions claiming supremacy or validation. In India, one side is claiming supremacy calling Hinduism invalid pagan sometimes satanic however on the other side Hinduism has been just defending & protecting, sometimes violently but for its survival & existence because they don't have the concept of supremacy & Conversions in Hinduism. THAT'S A HUGE DIFFERENCE in Religious conflicts of Indians than a generic worldview problem. It's a civilization conflict where the oldest civilization & its native ideology is under threat by migrated ideologies of foreign civilizations. Moreover, that is also another reason why most Indians connect with Jews & Israel
@@abeebaby2122 I agree. I was trying to keep it simple for white people! lol

The fact is that the world around India is very newly civilized in 3 -4 thousand years.
Hindus have the oldest civilized practices they made the world how to live together with all faiths and believes. Because according to Hindus beliefs are just to discipline the individual/group as a social community entity to perform duties and harmonious actions. The faiths and believes can't be imposed to anyone else. The biggest problem of Majhabs (Abrahamics) is that they ban the social spiritual freedom of other religious people and than expect from those suppressed people to coexist. Bottom rule of Majhabs is to control people and use them is completely against the rule of Nature & life. It is something inherited in their origin whereas Hindus patience and practices basically stands on equanimity.😊
