I assume you exit through the driver door or you step over the bag at the side door to do your deliveries. A much easier way to stack your bags is in threes on the shelves up. You stack them like 3,2,1-6,5,4-9,8,7 and so on. One side of the van can fit 21 bags when you stack like that and you’ll have the right side for your overflow and any additional bags. After you finish your first 6 bags you can drop the small shelf behind the drivers seat so you can sort and and arrange your packages more easily.
Yeah I have 2 totes that look like USPS mail totes that I bring with me and I put one in between the driver's seat and passenger seat and the other on the floor in between the passenger seat and glove compartment. I sort all my envelopes and small boxes in there. If I have a larger pkg/oversize, I step over the tote in between the seats. I once tried to load up with the shelves down and stacked 3 the entire left side and my first turn into the neighborhood, everything toppled over lol. That was the last time I tried that haha. I had the same route everyday and my route consisted of hilly roads and turns everywhere.
I need to show you how to double stack my friend. Put your third and fourth totes on top at side door since when you get to them, you will have the side door after the 4th tote has been eliminated
I used to double stack on the shelves but I quit doing that after the first time because my usual route consists of a lot of uphill and downhill movements including turning onto an uphill/downhill road... even if I do go slow, they start slipping off of each other and falling over lol
@@Avionyx I hate that when I have 18 more totes in those white vans without shelves. Every time i turn they all fall all over the place I feel like screaming lungs out
Yeah man, LOTS of driveways like that here in this part of Boulder City and I'm usually the one who drives this route 4 days out of the week. But honestly, I would rather take this than a route with apartments lol... thanks for watching!
Hey man, I have been enjoying your DSP videos. I have a question for you: i also live in the Las Vegas area and every time I apply to a DSP through the Amazon website it always says there's currently no slots available for my onsite interview. Is it a first come first serve thing, or is there a better alternative to setup an interview?
Check the Indeed website or app! But at this moment, now that peak season is over, a lot of DSPs are going through a route reduction so it may actually be a little difficult to find any new openings. But check Indeed, that's how I was hired.
I scan all my tote bags while still inside the warehouse because my carts are the farthest away from the entrance, Because if I try to pull them out at the same time everyone else is just gonna Cause traffic, but I also go around the other way that everyone else goes but yeah I'd like to scan them before I start moving my carts out
For the inside of the cab shot, I have my gopro mounted on a clip-style mount clipped onto the passenger visor. For the loading clip and outside of the van view I'm using this cool magnet mount for it, forgot the name of it.
Do they monitor speeds you drive? If your using your phone? Just curious cause I've heard different stories from different people that use to work their
Yes the eMentor app tracks if you're speeding, hard acceleration, harsh braking, harsh cornering and if you're holding the scanner device or rabbit as they call it, in your hand while driving or touching the screen while driving. The Netradyne camera also tracks the same thing plus can see if you are wearing your seatbelt across your chest and let's you know of you're following too close to someone, it also sees if you run a stop sign and red light. If you drive the speed limit and just drive safe to begin with, you won't get dinged for any of that. I only got one ding after the first 3 months of my DSP having the Netradyne camera, I didn't clear the yellow light completely, it turned red just before the traffic light was out of view haha
@@Avionyx i was just watching a video on a guy delivering and was being recorded had no seatbelt, and had the door open from the side of the van. Any tips for the behind the wheel test?
Haha yeah you're not supposed to have the side door open while driving. The serpentine course is the most challenging, doing it in reverse is more challenging than going forward. But they will walk you through it. If you ask to reset your position 3x then you don't pass.
I pay for the gas of my own car lol. The delivery station is literally 1.6 miles from my house. As far as the gas in the Amazon cargo van, we use the DSP's credit cards which Amazon then reimburses the DSP.

Don't mind me im just binging amazon delivery content for some reason. Some of those driveways though, oof. I guess you're staying fit.

Love the videos bro!👍🏻
Peak is like a normal day for me 😆 250+ pkgs for 140-200 stops.
Me too.
Damn... I average 150/ 285.. every day! 😜😜🤪
Man I’m in NY and peak for me was 156 stops 380 packages. A mix of apartments and homes
It’s not peak rn but I just did 191😞
Stop
You aren't kidding about routes being different during peace during peak my top stops it's were around around a 100 stops and nearly 200 packages
What city/state are you working out of?
@@Avionyx Working out of Williamsport MD but delivering in Hedgesville Wva
100 stops is nothing, your done with in four hrs, try 156 stops to 200 stops , that's alot. Especially in the bigger cities.
@@matthewconway1494 I am doing 130 to 150 stops in towndown Fredrick MD now. 200 to 300 stops
Yeah after my nursery routes, now I'm doing between 140-160 on the same route everyday, finished in 5 hours after 1st stop
That’s crazy here in Rhode Island/Massachusetts they abuse you with 195-215 stops and over 400 packages 😂😢
I’m the fastest Amazon Driver out there 🙏🏻 Dr. Prime
Less hours
I average about 25 to 29 totes. I go 3 high
How do you like the job
Make a left turn with 3 high and tell me how you feel 😂😂😂
I hope you're not actually running from the van to the door with this heat, you'll tire out quicker
Great video man. How is the mentor app working for you? Do you seem to have problems with it?
Nope no problems, 850 a majority of the time for me.

That's how I got the job as well, through Indeed.
I wonder what Amazon in Alaska is like during peak season
Nice and warm out probably lol
I see in the lapse that you learned that you dont actually have to scan anything.

good vid i sub
That scene on 12:14 reminds me of me when I'm working and I get high on weed
What’s key to get/keep that 850 score?
I find that hard acceleration, speeding and distractions are the most common violations. So just be extra careful in those 3 categories.
Use mentor on your personal phone and keep your phone in the glove box and it doesn’t record all that shit and you will have an 850 within a week
Use low battery mode😅
Hey my box is in there
😂😂
Aye bro slow don't they give you more later cuz they see you fast
Haha yeah they did actually give me more 😆 ... it's hard for me though because I have only 2 speeds, ON & OFF and when I'm ON I zip thru it all lol
Any tips on how to get more subscribers bro?
