Hey bro me again! Loving the quality! I passed my step band training! All I need to do is pass my states road test, because I need a license to drive one in my state, I wonder if we are in the same area
Bro I’m working out of OKC in a step van and I get 16-18 bags a day 25-30 overflow 300 packages 185-200 stops a day today I had 19 bags 37 overflow 190 stops in the snow, it’s crazy how routes differ in areas, it seams like you’re downtown I’m mostly residential with a mixture of businesses
WOW. Thats honestly alot of stops.😭 I pretty much get around 15-20 bags and less than 20 overflow on average. And anywhere from 70-100 stops, 250-300 packages. And yea im close to downtown. My DSP used to have routes in downtown and i was getting anywhere from 400-500 packages any just 40-60 stops.
dam bro, are you in chicago ?. I know those tight ass streets anywhere. I deliver in the burbs and out here, dam near every house has doorbell cameras so i make sure im extra careful; even with the envelopes 😂
lol yea chicago can sometimes be quite a mission. Especially parking, pedestrians on every foot of sidewalk, cars trying to beat the light. impatient drivers, and those 2 sec yellows dont help at all with the cameras on our vans.
Huh never thought about parking in the middle of the road 💀💀nah I'm joking but that is a good tip of I don't want to try and make a left turn out of somewhere, just park in the restricted lane
thanks man. i simply mount it on my head with one of those head strap/band. But I dont like it to much because its so exposed and people look at you weird like if they never seen a gopro on someones head.
@@chiipzz7041 Yeah man definitely stands out a bit I’m sure😂 But the footage looks stable and it seems nice to be able direct the camera a little better! Has anybody ever pointed it out while you were wearing it?!
Yeah looking at the area you drive in, I feel like we might be from the same station, wouldn’t that be a coincidence, let’s just say if we are that’d be crazy…
Hey man be careful, Amazon doesn’t like it when people film on the job from what I’ve heard, from what I’ve seen they are kind-of being a bad company for employees. Great videos though!
Yeah Delivering in the snow sucks Especially in the regular Amazon vans People with private driveways You risk getting stuck or some Delivery notes say don't drive on our drive way and you have to walk the package in the snow on a long ass drive way These jobs may pay more then others but its still not worth it To Much Risk
at our dsp (in Minnesota) we don't have to walk down driveways. If they don't have their driveway plowed we can mark it as (unable to access) and return the package.
That's crazy ...I can't imagine having to wake up knowing I have to do it all over again
Yup it gets to you in the long run
Think back to high school
Love the videos! Keep delivering gnoses smiles!!!
oh heeeeeeeelllllnawwwww. Good video dude!
What kind of boots would you recommend for the snow?
How's the traction with these on the snow? The EV's slide like crazy due to the regen braking
Its not bad with a loaded truck. Might suck with an empty one though.
That’s Chicago?

4:31 why not park In their lot?
it wasnt a lot. it was like a small drop off loop. I tried to leave my van facing a certain way so that im in the direction of my next stop.

I can easily do 180 stops in a day but in snow I don’t think I could do 150 or less lol but I live in Florida so thank god no snow here
Huh never thought about parking in the middle of the road 💀💀nah I'm joking but that is a good tip of I don't want to try and make a left turn out of somewhere, just park in the restricted lane
Love the video man! How do you mount your GoPro? I have a chesty now but thinking about a head mount. Drive safe bro!

Maybe one day can you deliver my package for amazon
How’s the pay working with Amazon?
It depends where you are located and your DSP.
Yeah looking at the area you drive in, I feel like we might be from the same station, wouldn’t that be a coincidence, let’s just say if we are that’d be crazy…
😂😂that will be crazy. Lets just say I deliver in Wicker Park area but my station is at Cicero. Does something sound familiar?😂
@@chiipzz7041 if it’s in Chicago!!! I’m not sure haha.
You should be driving the ford step van it has a 360 camera and a monitor beside the driver side so you can all around the step van that in Florida
ive driven it already. we have 4 of them at our dsp but they almost always put me in these freightliners
I think the step van fords is the best one
yup i agree. the suspension feels way softer than these freightliners
What is that constant beeping does it not drive you crazy ?
i know right. it beeps when activating turn signals and fourways. Im so used to it, i dont hear it anymore lol.
@@chiipzz7041 your better then me cause I’m leaving 😂 still watched the video tho 😆
Dang those roads are CRAZY, stay safe out there bro!
Thanks man i appreciate it
It should say in an inch of snow

@@chiipzz7041 your iPhone is smart so you dont know where to go lol
Surprised you ain't get in trouble for dropping packages like that...
My dsp you would be fired if they saw it done that way
Lol. My manager even told us that if they didnt answer the door or gate, or no notes "drop it n go". Luckily never had any complaints.
That's alot lol
Your ready for FedEx ground
Be careful I believe in you travel towards the United Center it’s more dangerous.
