    The global game in general has been getting better & better. Many of the top NBA players rn are from Europe & Africa. The US didn't even get a medal at the recent FIBA championship. The Asian game is getting better too with more professional leagues in Asia. But height plays a big factor. Ohtani is considered huge in Asia at 6'4" but that's a point guard's height in the NBA...

    • @JapanQuest

      Surprisingly Yuta Watanabe is 6'9". I've seen some crazy tall Northern Chinese people. I'm surprised there's not more Chinese in NBA, also I heard basketball is huge in China.

    Making the NBA is very hard. It’s also just a numbers game. More blacks, whites, euro etc play basketball than Asians so that’s why you see more of them in the NBA than Asians. Also the girls game is not as competitive than men’s so it’s easier for Asian girl hoopers to make it. Boys/men’s is super competitive even at the younger age like elementary level.

      There has never been Asian stereotypes in baseball after ichiro. Stop applying your failures in other sports like basketball, sports that don’t fit for Asians to sports Asian have been doing good in for a long time. Nobody is stereotyping a Japanese baseball player. They are feared.

    18year old Yang Hansen from China has a decent chance I think. His game is whats "hot" in the NBA right how because he shows flashes of Jokic/Sengun level passing combined with great rim protection and post moves(led in assists and blocks in U19 world cup). He's has a big wide frame(at least 250lbs already now) and is a legit 7'1 with a 7'5'' wingspan. He has very high basketball IQ and plays like a veteran at such an early age. Def. has a good future ahead if he doesn't rot in the CBA

    Its unfair to put players with half asian and half other race to be included. Full asians have shorter legs, arms for their height, plus smaller frame. To have other race (white, black) mixed in, sometimes they take those traits and becomes a nba player. There are alot of 6'6 + pure asians in asian countries that play in their countries basketball teams, that have 0 chance to make it to the nba, even if they practice their whole lives. Short arms and legs definitely limits you. This is coming from a asian person who is born in america and played against all races here

    • @JapanQuest

      @@JapanQuest yuta is tall, plus he is not that great of a nba player overall. There will be some pure asians that will make it, but its very small. Jeremy lin is a rare exception. Yao is super tall but his arms are shorter than his height, and he has short legs. The rest were never good, but were 7 footers (zhou qi, wang zhelin, wang zhizhi, yi jianlian, minke bateer). The rest of the half blooded nba players would have never made it if both of their parents were asian. Jalen green, jaylin williams, rui, clarkson. Kyle anderson is 12.5% chinese but his relatives are all short in china. If his great grandpa never left china, he would be 5'6. All half blooded asians overall are better than the full blooded asians in the nba.

      Not every black player has long arms and elite athleticism so I think you are unfortunately defeating yourself with stereotypes. Look at Desmond Bane, Jimmy Butler, good players who dont possess elite limbs or athleticism. I guarantee you, it's possible to find Asians with that raw talent on their level out of a few billion. It comes down to culture and practice. Imagine if our parents grilled us as hard in sports as they do in academics? You would see a ton more Asian-Americans in pro sports.

    • @wl6020
      @wl6020 6 місяців тому +1

      @@nonhan1801 im over generalizing here. Averages are averages. There are rare exceptions. 5'3 muggsy bogues played in the nba for 14 years but not every 5'3 guy on earth can make it. Think about how many indians and chinese are on this planet, and how many made it to the nba. Long arms, legs, big frame help. Please watch the cba (china) games on UA-cam, and you will see the level of play, there are many chinese over 6'8 but their play is much slower. The best players of china, the Olympic team, no one is in the nba, and some cant even make it onto a d1 college roster. The worst nba team will destroy them.

    • @nonhan1801
      @nonhan1801 6 місяців тому

      @@wl6020 The worst NBA teams would destroy any Africa League team too. Does that mean African descent has bad genetics for basketball? Obviously not as there are plenty of African Americans in the NBA. There are way more Africans than African Americans. Theoretically they should dominate right if race is the biggest factor right? Culture and training is still the biggest factor in success if you look at it that way.

    Interesting, the problem is most minorities do not own any of the teams (this is true for African Americans and Asians). Team ownership should be a goal before playing or at least afterwards (but it cost a pretty penny and one has to be up for sale, Michael Jordan sold his ownership in the team he had for billions).

      Asian women like white men. It's pretty simple and white men want someone they can control or that fits the stereotype of an Asian woman. Some Asian women believe they will have blue eyed and blonde hair babies (I have run into Asian women who thought this sadly, kind of hard to do with little no mixing until recently unless you count Filipinos, parts of India and some places in China, etc.
