Cool video! I like the way you explained the stability of the boat. I've had a small boat slide out from under me, and I took a bath. I was very glad it was warm when it happened.
A lot of unexperienced people think a boat is a boat. It's hard for some to comprehend until they actually stand in the boat in the water. Every boat is different. They rock different, ride different, cut turns different, etc. I enjoy driving the boat. It's therapeutic in a way. Especially with the bigger rigs. Some drive Harleys, I drive boats. Wot running on glass just hits different.
Hey bud. I am over in the UK sorting out some awful flooring and decking that is in a Linder 400 Sportsman that I bought. My question is what thickness angle would you suggest. Currently has 1.5"×1.5"x1/16" and the the frame just bends and twists.
@@TRICKEDTINS Thank you. I just saved that link to my computer and already went searching around there... and took a look at the current inventory of Jon boats. They do look very nice without the middle bench and without the front deck extension. Super spacious... I am not sure any deck mods would even be needed with the finished 1448 they had on their website. I would leave it open for adaptability. Just rig it out... and max out the engine (maybe add some float pods). I am having fun messing around/learning on the cheap/highly used 1436 I have right now. Perhaps in a few years... I will be on the lookout for something worthy of trips into bigger waters. If I do, I will probably look at Weldbilt first.

100% agree this is the best bang for buck to build out minus the middle seat.
