This mode is an absolute game changer for my improvised playing (LYDIAN)

Don't know anything about theory but I've just discovered how all the good players (think Vai) have such good note choice. I'm playing in E Lydian. Basically - use an e as your main backing/bass note but play in g sharp minor and boom that's e lydian (I think).
