Epson Error 000031, 000023, 0xEA Scratching Sound & Stuck to the Left WF-7720

- We fixed an Epson WF-7720 with a scratching sound, printhead carriage assembly (CR) stuck to the left of the printer, and then displays error 000031. We cleaned the timing belt but the errors re-occur with error 000023. We identified the problem to be the printer's waste assembly (cap station) and replaced the station.

Fixed! The transparent wheel came loose and fell off, causing the gear to not spin. When I press it back into place, the printer works fine. I'll need to apply glue to ensure it stays in place and spins with the gear.
Thank you so much for this video my printer hadn’t been working for a few weeks and I kept getting the 00023 error . I just wanted to cry. This video really helped me fix the problem

I saw that the head assembly is dettached from the black rolling belt how to fix it?
I had an error 23 on my Epson ET-8550 printer which would cause the printhead carriage to slam to the left side of the printer. My problem was that the (blue) head lock handle was not fully in the unlock position, once I pushed it all the way down the error went away.
lol, this was my issue too. The blue handle was slightly up and was printing fine before, but after a paper jam it wouldn’t work. I was about to take apart my printer before I saw this comment and thankful it worked!

In my case ribbon was twisted. Turning it back fixed it. Then there was scanner error, which I fixed by actually closing the scanner unit so it is level.
OH so my issue was that my cables to the print head were pulling on the print head when it went to "zero" (to the right). So it didnt go all the way to the right, causing it to go to far left. I literally just tugged a little on the tightest cables (be sure not to do it too much lol).

Hey Kevin....I having the same issue my et15000 start up then makes the scratching sounds when the printer head tries to go back right the error 000031. I cleaned the ribbon and still same thing. How hard is it to fix a et15000 that has the same problem?
