Welcome To The Murder Capital Of America | Documentary

- Welcome to Baton Rouge, the murder capital of America, also considered as the most dangerous city in America in my latest documentary. This city, known for its high crime rates and gang activity, provides a raw backdrop for our exploration. I conducted in-depth interviews with ex-gang members and local residents to shed light on what it's really like to live amidst the violence and turmoil.
This time, my focus is on Baton Rouge, a city that not only grapples with crime but also fosters incredible musical talent. It’s the home of rap phenomenon NBA YoungBoy and other rising stars like BBG Dee, Real Bleeda, and Doddie Savage. These artists, associated with NBA and the 4KT gang, are making waves in the music industry despite the challenges they face growing up in such a volatile environment.
Previously, I covered New Orleans, Louisiana, but Baton Rouge presents its own unique stories and struggles. This documentary provides a raw look at the harsh realities of gang life and the relentless pursuit of success in the southern rap scene.

@@bluu_ice6554 OH BS. Dependson the father and stop blaming single mothers who are most of the time single due to the behavior of baby daddy who abused them and/or children and/or took a powder. No strong parents period. I raised my daughter alone; didn't turn her idjit. Some parents are worse than no parents - which applies to both fathers and mothers. But this lame BS of blaming it on single mother households is just that - lame.
When I was in high school, friend of mine did a pew pew event at our school with his hunting, er, bang stick and 200 rounds. Today homicide is the leading cause of death among young Black men, and contributes significantly to the shortened life-span of the Black male. In about 80-90% of the cases, the Black victim was killed by another Black, and about 52% of the murder victims were acquainted with their assailant. Just as we accept that suicide victims are psychologically impaired, we must acknowledge that a murderer is similarly impaired, and Blacks -- for both environmental and political reasons -- are likely to reflect emotional predispositions that allow them to more readily become a homicide statistic. Projected self-hatred facilitates blind rage and gives the perpetrator of the violent attack a sense of legitimacy
Black homicide rates are seven to eight times higher then of whites or other ethnic groups in the US

I really didn’t expect this video to be about my city when I clicked on it, considering how under the radar most of this information is on a mainstream level. The conditions here have been so bad recently it’s halfway lit a flame under myself to get out there and document the life people are subjugated to around here through things like discrimination of allocated resources, etc. The issue is so much deeper than just people shooting each other and that’s why the shooting has gotten so insanely outta control.

We blame our community and everyone else for our problems but no one mentions where the real problem begins. If this way of thinking and lifestyle of living doesn't change from generation to generation, it will only get worse. Seriously bless your heart. I've been homeless in Little Rock and Portland. But in all honesty I was a "visitor" in those scenarios - heartbroken by a repressed family system and oppressive, antiquated status quo behaviors by white women in the south. I didn't grow up in the south and I was well educated so the "culture" infuriated and broke me several times leading to stints of homelessness. I cannot imagine being a homeless person of color in the south 💔

Bruh please stop with the AmeriKKKa racist propaganda. The correct spelling is America and also it's young black individuals killing each other not the Ku Klux Klan of the 1950's
You lost any credibility with your deliberate misspelling of America. Maybe the reason you've spent your life bumping along on your ass is because of the hatred you have for a country in which even the poor people are richer than 50% of the rest of the world. Your implication that this country is inherently racist, as evidenced by your spelling of America with three k's, is straight debunked by the millions of black and brown people who come here legally and are outperforming native born people of color in both education and income.
The fact that you’re still doing that dumb “Amerikkka” bs after watching this video, shows that despite your financial situation, you are still mentally stuck in the same place you were. This happens because of a lack of responsibility and of morals.

Biggest takeaway from this video...parents have to stay on top of their kids and do everything in their power to keep them in school. The mentality of these dudes comes from ignorance. An ignorance that's rooted in a lack of education. Guarantee you there are others that come from the same environment that stay in school and go on to be productive members of society. Life is about choices. They're choosing that lifestyle. Sad all the way around...
There are plenty of them (myself included). It’s all about the choices you make like you said. Born and raised there 28 years before I left. It’s way deeper than this video can show, you just have to be strong mentally to deal with it and mind your business. It’s in your face as soon as you walk outside whether you’re directly involved or not.
One of the best choices one can make is not raising their kids around hoodlums. Leave the lifestyle and areas where that lifestyle propagates.
I’m glad you were able to survive and get out of the death trap! Society has been placing blame on everything and everyone else but negate the responsibility of poor choices. It’s easy to hate harder to love. I’m a follower of Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior my King not my religion. I pray that one day people will wake up from this madness and put down the hatred and extend the hands in peace and love in helping one another not hurting one another.

lol you could do this in damn near every major city in Louisiana at different times of the year. Shreveport to Monroe and Alexandria to New Orleans.
most the small towns too honestly.
Those parishes between new orleans and baton rouge get crazy too. I have family in St James parish. About 35 mins from New orleans and there's always someone getting killed out there
@@jaysoulxselah8260 shitchea, they half BR half Nola half country af lol
There is lack of development in the pre-frontal cortex.
😂 agree
You wouldn't be an exception growing up in that environment.
Definitely.
@@WAstateofmind It is not enviroment I am speaking of, it goes much deeper than that, this is a matter of genetics.
Fact
Does anybody know if the song bbg dee was rappin at the beginning of the documentary was ever recorded? If so please drop the link to the song
This was dope you gotta do another
this documentary really highlights all aspects in the problems in baton rouge, i shows emphasis on how these problems root from violence that happened years ago and suppressed trauma that was never treated the right way which leads to misguided youth, it also shows the lucky ones like bbg dee who were able to still find a positive aspect in life and turn that into changing his life around for the better while also trying to uplift others and his past enemies and giving himself to god while also showing all the pain and train that is being caused to the family members and loved ones who have to endure the pain of the local violence.
prayers to everyone in baton rouge ❤
So sick of the trauma and generational trauma excuse. My father was rounded up with his family by the Stalinist regime and sent to a genoc!@e camp in Siberia while living as a marginalized and disempowered racial minority in Kalmykia as a child. His parents suffered the same all their lives. He didn't turn into a freakin social menace and neither did I. Accountability and self advancement through merit based endeavors is a thing. There are less than 1/2 a million kalmylk people in the US so I know about being marginalized minority but we don't receive incentivized welfare or Affirmative action we just had to pull it out our ass and succeed without excuses.
Good lordt!
That was the longest sentence I ever read 😮💨🫥😭🤣
@@ddz1375the story you told are looking down on a very small population of black Americans, but the governments you are talking about Russian whites European whites are worst and had badine terrible things to whole cities. Don’t be fooled by a documentary about 200 people when your heritage has millions of bodies for power and control. Black Americans know the horrors they ancestors faced at the hands of European descendants.
All the problems in BR are all the same problems in Chicago Philadelphia Somalia Baltimore etc etc.
Asian plus island equals Japan.
Whites plus island equals England.
The problems plus island equals Haiti.
See the pattern.
The craziest part is the little boy following them and keeps looking over his shoulder, probably carrying a machine gun in the book bag. The streets are wicked..
No we dont even know that boy too well. We’d rather influence the youth towards positivity b4 negativity
@@realgangstashi2435what about dude running his mouth in the background we have Pete and repeat seems to don't have a mind of his own he keeps repeating the other dude that's doing the interview

Mayor Broome is really doing a great job cleaning up this city. Her summer of hope initiative is especially effective. Especially when incidents jump off during these events.
They talk at the same time and they all say the same thing its incredible
Lord please get our people out these shackles 😢
They got the key but prefer this gang shite.

What lord?
Because the mayhem isn't limited to Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and Shreveport, the state of Louisiana has, according to the FBI Uniform Crime Report, had a higher per-capita murder/non-negligent manslaughter rate than any other state over the last 34 years in a row despite having a higher incarceration rate than any other state over the vast majority of those years.
Lived in Louisiana all my life
Shreveport, BR and New Orleans.
The smaller cities aren’t any better.
Currently in Delaware/Maryland area.
I left the hood a long time ago and never looked back and never plan on going back. Anything can happen at anytime and anywhere but my chances of surviving have increased significantly since I work and go home. My advice to young black men is to work and stay busy being productive and you won’t have time for trouble.
So glad I got out the ghetto.
Ain’t no feeling like being a paranoid individual looking over yo shoulder. I thank god every day he has given me the opportunities he has.
Praise God and spread love y’all

This era of young black men has got to be the worse ever!!
No I think it's just the wide availability of cell phone cameras and the internet is exposing reality more than ever.
90s 80s was way worse
This is very good quality. I would consider this an actual documentary compared to people that just mess around like tommy g.
Had to turn off Tommy g's new video today. Just mugs talking shit & throwing the gang signs.
