    I knew a guy in the 90's named Deebo, and he took my other friends chain right off his neck. And the worse part of it was he got that chain as a gift, from his Grandma. Then my other friend Craig got into it with Deebo for pushing a female Craig liked. So when Craig knocked Deebo the F out, Smokey robbed Deebo for $200 to pay back big worm for all the weed he smoked and didn't pay back Big Worm . The End. That was a crazy Friday, the whole day.

    Just like Ghost, 50 was light years ahead thinking wise. Dummies robbed a dummy chain. Buck ran around looking for something that 50 didn't even care about. Game ran with the story and even rapped about it. Fiends and pushers in Chicago damn near starved over a worthless piece of metal. 😅

      @povilasmarveloustv3810 Рік тому +121

      A chain is a chain. Fif was the only one who knew that it was a dummy chain, to everybody else it was the REAL chain. So to the general public, G-unit just got punked in Chicago and lost their chain. They had to get that chain back not because of it's financial value, but because it was a bad look. they HAD to get that cheap shit back. Even if it was the real chain, the reason to get it back had nothing to do with value of the chain. and 50 is capping about it being worth 300k. Even at 100k he was being ripped off. So either he's lying or he got fucking robbed ...
      Though it is one of the most memorable chains in hip hop history.

      3. Buck is a dummy and liability. Should know better than to not lose the G-Unit chain as it would make their brand lose respect. On top of it, he wasn't able to get the chain back after staying in Chicago for a few days. He didn't go to the right spots. Should of went to nightclubs and stripclubs to start asking about the chain. Street guys ain't hanging around radio stations. For a street guy, he should know this.

    I can't believe 50 would even let a goofy like Tay even in his circle. You can tell by watching this video that dude is a crash test dummy. Through our my life I've learned that when you let dudes like Tay hang around that nine times outta ten that type dude will get you jammed up...either with the law or some hitters in the streets.. If I was 50 after Tay got robbed for the chain and he explained to me how he got robbed I woulda told him right then and there that he needs to get the fuck from round me and if you ever come back around me I'm gonna put hands on you. In my opinion Tay is the type dude that don't think shit out and just wants be down with everything but the more you let dudes like him hang around you the more problems and fucked up situations dude will have you involved in.

    To anyone saying he didnt have the dummy chain or else so many stories of people getting it back wouldn't make sense, i agree but have a counter arguement. Its not about whther the chain was real or not. The image this set and the people 50 was affiliated with couldnt be surrounded by this type of disrespect. Similar to the way the romans looked at the golden eagle (Aquila) rappers looked at their chains similarly and any criminal organization possibly involved in this on 50's side eould completely understand his view point as LEGIT gangster rapper and what this TRULY means...
    I have doubt there were as many "sit downs" as are spoken about. I think the real shit was talked about off camera because this wasnt about money this was about g-unit as a whole losing A LOT of credibility and they would have spent every dime they had to keep that credibility because they know they can always make more with the credibility and mostly good labels on their side. Loved this time in hip hop/rap. Now people get shot for nothing over a 500 view youtube rap video

      @kumarg3598 Рік тому

      @threesixesinarow8265 there is a little more to it. For one, mixtapes were sold on street and those dealers made a good living doing so. While short lived, it was easy. I bought so many while on the train. If you ordered online, you had to pay 1-3 bucks as a fee. Either way, someone made money off of other people's copyrighted material. You could put your entourage to work instead of paying for them. Second, I can't think of a better marketing plan for an upcoming rapper. Instead of relying on BS A&Rs and the marketing dept of record labels, you could reach the suburbs and rural America without spending needlessly. Mixtapes definitely put the nail into the coffin for record companies. Do you remember 1993? Dres the chronic cost 22 bucks at Sam goody. That's 33 bucks today. Dre didn't get 22 bucks per album. He got maybe 5 bucks per sale. Made MTV irrelevant for music.

      I have a gold chain, 14k. Cost around 1,300. Long story short, when I was 16 I made a bucket list. One thing on it for the materialistic category was to have a pendant made. Cost 5k to make. It’s a cross with 1 ounce of 14k gold with 14 brilliant round diamonds with 5 rubies in it. One in the center and the other 4 at the end of each end of the cross. Ruby is my birth stone. I always have my gun on me with or without it. I’m from KS. Any time I travel it goes in my lock box at the bank lol. When I wear it I’m very conscious of who and what’s going on around me. One time I was with my wife at IHOP and some dudes were staring at me across the way. All but one got up and left. When we got up to leave after we paid he was about 20ft behind me. Once we got outside I told my wife to stand behind me and I suddenly turned around and put my hand on my gun and turned sideways so I could see multiple ways and starred straight at dude….lol. Guy stopped, put his hands up and said I’m sorry, I just wanted to know if that’s a real Michael Jordan jersey 😂. I kinda laughed and apologized back, said no, it’s a Mitchell & Ness. Nowadays I mainly keep the chain at the bank. Love the chain but I’m 35 now. Kinda out of that stage.

    So from games own his homeboy had the chain at one point. If game is really down with G unit he should’ve just told his homeboy to give Buck the chain back. Game telling him to charge buck 100,000???? You know if the shoe was on the other foot and game had his chain snatch and 50 or buck or bank had it they would’ve just given it back. Can you imagine the hissy fit game throws if he gets his chains stolen, because his homeboy was out being a clown with it, and then someone else in G unit had the chain and still charged him 100 grand? Game is loyal to all the wrong people and burns the bridges to the people that would actually help him. Game at one time had Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Eminem and G unit all in his corner and would’ve done anything for him. He threw them away to hang out with Jimmy Hinchman, the guy who had Tupac shot the first time, and Wack 100, the clown that’s going around, telling people that Nipsey is on the DL after he passed away. No wonder Games life is shit.
