Agree with the newest Gen R1300. Pacific rim looking. The current iteration is without question BMW’s best styling. But that’s IMHO. But to the bigger picture going in here. The serenity and peace we speak of when riding might come from the specialness that comes from the skills required to do it so well. It takes years of honing the craft. Then there’s doing it with such finesse and aplomb through early morning or afternoon NYC commute hours like a tarmac slaying predator. Well done.
I'm in NC, I rode all last winter on my wing, now have a 20 R1250GS Exclusive. Coldest day this season so far 37, Noru windproof jacket with liner, and Sedici pants with liner. I did just put on a Piug touring screen and man it's helped with the wind! I'll go back to my "sport" screen this summer when I'll want more air. so far I don't think I'll be adding anything, well... maybe a Milwaukee heated vest ;-)
Good to see you back, Gil! I always adjust my gear for the season, and this year is no different - I have my cold weather stuff all prepped :D I might even get some NEW cold weather stuff :D
100% agree with those early morning rides !!
What a way to start a day.

I’ll have to check out the Sedici over pants when I hit the local CycleGear.
I look forward to seeing the restyled GSA
Nothing like seeing something firsthand and throwing a leg over it. No doubt the performance and electronics will be top notch.

We must adapt.
@@GBeWinginIt Adapt or be overcome? :D
GB. I want to see the GSA 1400 to make a decision on the new design/styling. As of now I’m still preferring the current 1250 GS
I’m with you. Who knows the GSA maybe something special.
The 1300 looks made by the Chinese and not the german!
Guess we’ll all see them firsthand at the dealership in a few months.
