Music background, not as loud next time. Also you should have reviewed ASA.- I not only guaranty that sales will be 90% ASA (for GS and GSA and whichever model they also put it), 9 of those 10% will quickly regret their choice of not getting it, either by discovering how it really works or when in the future try to sell it, and their bike will be "ah that one without ASA". I bet you on that.
I totally see where you are going with this. I hope I have the possibility to have a testdrive in the future and to test it offroad. An automatic gearbox in the mud is quite different 💥
Haha 😂 don’t think so. My 1250 is now 1 year and 20k km on it. I think I’m going to take the 1250 around the world first. Let’s do a ride out in December! 💥
Really nice edition man!! 👌 As some comments already mentioned, music was a bit louder, but the rest is outstanding 👏 Still didn't give a test to this machine, I'm on the waiting list, but I must say that I totally agree with you in terms of comparisons with the 1250GSA. Cheers ✌️ 🍻
The 1250 is absolutely a beast of a machine. They made it just a little bit better with the new 1300. But for some I think the 1250 will be a better bike. It really good to test it and make your own opinion. 💥🙏🏻
Very interesting points about the new GSA and comparing with the 1250! The thing about bikes is essentially passion and so, it’s hard to rationalize a lot of matters, namely why do we get hooked on things that provide us with faculties that we don’t need or that in reality we never tried before and it is being offered now. At a first glance it makes no sense. But from a professional commercial and sales point of view it’s a top of the list job. To create the necessity. To create the sensation of need. It’s a shark’s aggressive strategy and only very sophisticated Organizations can perform that way. Once a teacher told me to put my jacket on and I said that I wasn’t feeling cold. And she insisted, “try it, and the cold will come later!”. That’s what happens with this new BMW 1300 GSA 👍🏻
I hope you liked the video 🙏🏻 I absolutely understand your opinion. I doesn’t mean that we can’t be the guy in the t-shirt when it’s freezing outside. 😉 that’s why I keep some love for the oldies 💥
Finally an honest opinion of the new ugly duckling. Like olives, it is an acquired taste. So there will be a percentage of people who will buy it because its a great bike or do they want a pretty bike and buy the 1250 which is almost as good as, or is it better?
If you speak about performance then I would say that the 1300 is better. Feels lighter and more agile than the 1250GSA. But there are many things that I prefer more on the 1250. Like the braking, the comfort suspension and the seat for example. 🙏🏻💥
Please get rid of the back ground music 😢 The 1250 should be deducted at least 10 points on looks The TEC is there to help but you can switch it off or order without it so another 10 points off the 1250 Performance the 1300 gets another win
A fair assessment. I personally didnt ask for new technology nor a significant price increase. And I definitely didnt ask for something that I think is plain ugly ( and yes I have seen it in the showroom already and it isn't any better ). Maybe the real reason many present GS owners simply won't bother buying, is that the 1250 is so good its not really worth changing.... thats where I am. The look of the new bike I simply cannot get past ( it looks very cheap in areas ) and at big money that matters.... for some 😉 ps they are right about background music.... when your presentation is good you dont need rubbish like that.
Thanks for the comment. Appreciated. I’m also quite happy with my 1250GSA. Not really seeing the advantage yet. Please have a look to my second video. I hope I did a better job with the audio 😉
I have counted 17 videos where the influencer says "It looks better in the flesh". This bike is ugly, it is the "Lizo" (the singer) of motorcycles. Usually when motorbikes are this big, you don't feel the weight when riding. But you will notice the weight when riding slowly at petrol stations, car parks and hairpins, that is when these bikes will be dropped, and with a pillion even more so. BMW know how to sanitize/remove the fun from motorcycling.
About the weight I have to say this is not correct. I have had light bikes and heavy ones. The 1300 feels really light. Please go to a showroom and feel it yourself. At first I had a total other opinion then now. About the design… I can’t argue with you for that because that’s a personal opinion. I like my 1250 in design better but I can’t say that the 1300 isn’t better is some pointers like the light feeling and the sharper gearbox. It feels also like it wants to ride more sporty then the 1250. Thats my opinion.
Finally, an honest review. Thank you!
Thank you 🙏🏻 much appreciated 👍🏻
Great honest review....
Thank you! 🙏🏻
The R1300GS is an incredible bike. Benchmark in the segment.
They've clearly shifted their focus to the asphalt. I wonder if he's made a big leap forward offroad too. Maybe an idea for the future.

I have 1200 GSA LC. Do I need 1250 GSA? No. Do I need 1300 GSA? No. I just need comfort and I have it.
The 1200 is a really good bike. I had one 6 years ago I think. Great bike with a reliable engine 👌🏻💥
I wish you didn't have that silly music in the background.
Thank you for your feedback 😊 much appreciated for future videos. I hope you liked the rest. 💥
I agree the music is pointless and annoying, you are a good tester and don't need it.
@@stevenkenny2885 thank you for that, much appreciated! 🙏🏻💥
And also the GS 1250 exhaust sounds so more better 🔥
There is a huge difference in sound indeed. I appreciate the sound of my R1250GSA even more 👍🏻

I for one won't be buying the new 1300 GSA. It is uglier in person than I imagined it would be. I'm hanging onto my 1250 GSA.
