using an x27.168 stepper from GM clusters with a frequency input for an rx7 cluster.

  • finally the FD will have a replacement option for the obsolete air core motors in the clusters. x27 stepper motors are readily available and used in GM clusters for their gauges.

    I played with sw27 steppers but could find needles that fit the shafts, are you using the FD needles?

      Yep I'm using FD needles but there's quite a few options for needles of these on Amazon and eBay. Have you tried those?

      stepper motors have to sweep to the hard stop as part of a startup sequence.
