I bought two (2) of these in Scottsdale Arizona yesterday. My wife and I love them.

This is the best and most thorough review of this bike. If I had watched this one first, I would not have wasted time watching the multiple others before making my decision. Outstanding technical and functional review!

I love mine bought it last summer, mine has the better comfy seat. I never run out of battery I usually use 1-3 assist only and throttle sometimes.

Nice! The battery hold up well. Especially if you keep it in that 1-3 range.

You are the only woman I have read a review from, and I really needed a woman's perspective. What seat did you get because I am having issues with my current seat/saddle.

Just purchased this bike I'm in love with it, would anyone know what the password is to change the speed from 20mph to 28mph?

This is a good value bike and provides I nice more upright posture for bike paths ect while still letting you get on trails. Not many bikes will give you a torque sensor at this price level. The derailer and brakes work better than some other more expensive bikes I tried though not in love with the shifter that is thumb activated for both up and down shifting. I also find it a bit heavy at around 65 lbs though and will be looking to get a more powerful and lighter mid drive this next summer. A great starter ebike though.

Hi, were you on the small/medium or large size? And wondering on your height?

Can you change the max throttle speed in the settings?

Yup says up to 35 mph or something but couldnt get mine above 28 in real trial and top gear is too low to pedal at that speed.

so i do mostly double track rail trail, non-graded dirt tracks, 4x4 roads and about 5% green trails. So bumpy rough roads but no jumps, drops or long janky trails. Do you think this bike would be ok for that. Also how do you find the sizing of the bike. I tend to size down for comfort.

    Are the rims tubeless compatible?

The distance of almost 37 miles achieved in the range test appeared reasonable, but the average speed seemed unreasonably slow at only 16 MPH with max pedal assist. That's no faster than an ordinary bike. Maybe the course was hilly or had long mountain grades? With max pedal assist on a flat course pedaling with only moderate effort, I would have expected an average speed in excess of 20 MPH for a bike with a top speed of 28 MPH. Any helpful explanations?

How well does the bike handle on black diamond mountain bike trails?

Leaning toward the Shred but wondering if there are other similar bikes in this price range I should consider? Seems that everything less expensive has cadence sensor and middle drive is considerably more expensive. This bike seems to hit a sweet spot of solid components and value. Am I wrong? Thanks.

You pretty much nailed it right on the head with your assessment. Surface604 also makes the Quad. Largely similar bike with a different look and some upgraded tires if you plan on sticking just to trails. We felt like there was a ton of value on both of those bikes.

So what's the total weight of this Shred 604?

I ordered this as my first bike in a long long time, is this going to be okay on some green level trails on weekend rides? Probably mostly road riding but dying to do trail riding

We viewed this as a beginner to intermediate level trail bike. It should handle lighter trails no problem.

The sticker says "Designed in Canada". Is the frame really "constructed" in Canada?

Would this be considered a Class 3?
