I served for 10yrs in Her Majesty's Royal Marines Band (UK) and I am in awe of this band - they are superb. Having performed in many military Tattoos etc., I know just how many l-o-n-g hours will have been spent perfecting this routine - just perfect. I take my pith helmet off to these bandsmen and to the staff, behind the scenes, who would have spent many hours plotting, and pacing out, this display. BRAVO!!!!!👏👏👏👏👏
@Mari Indeed, I have NO doubt about how hard these (you?) bandsmen (I get how woke the world is now so I use that term in the acknowledged meaning of the word mankind, i.e. it includes women, as equals, in the terminology!!) work to achieve this, superb, level of performance. Add in that this is over, and beyond, their regular educational commitments as I said: I am in awe. Once again, BRAVO to all involved and if that includes your good self then - deepest respect!
Why hasn't the UK come up with the idea of a parade like this as a gift for King Charles III, modeled on the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band at Trooping The Color as a birthday parade for the monarch? I believe this would greatly enhance Troping The Color.
@@petersteckhan2385 You're welcome to come up with it and put it into play. It's annoying when people read a very nice post and then pick it apart with stupidity.
I grew up in Carthage Texas and marched in a military style band long ago. I played percussion. For me still there is nothing like a great military style marching band. At my age I still want to get out on that field & start marching with them. How well I remember going to Nacogdoches Texas to MIL competition every year. Great job Aggie band!
Lifetime Longhorn here: Mighty fine marching program here! You Aggies should be proud of your Band - and especially all the practice time that they put in to make such a great show.
I am Ex Australian Army and was an Instructor on promotion courses for a bunch of years. We had a March-out parade at the end of each course - standard Army thing. I was tasked with organising the parade on many occasions. When I think back and then look at this, I realise how easy I had it. GO the Fightin Aggies.
Just don’t drill too deep in an american. Please! I am asking by all means of a person… !!!!! AtM no metter the spelling! Especially if you know the storry! Sometimes the old saying is coming handy: …. !!!! For now!

@@nuttysquirrel8574 I'm glad *@Mari* removed her ignorant comment. Your post is a beautiful tribute to an amazing band.
