11:50 best POV right there! I told a friend of mine about your RCs and asked if it's possible one can make his own with a 3D printer, and he said it is! Your knowledge of how these configurations work (and cars in general) blows me away.
Thank you very much I dont know that much about these I hear people talking about this weight oil in the shocks this weight in the differentials will do this and that and I am like wow. You can 3d print the parts I wonder how stong it would be? These cars are tough they have a good bit of flex to keep from breaking I have been looking to get one or a laser printer see what I could make. I have a better mount system now for the camera so better views coming :)
Very impressed on how well your display room turned out. Be cautious! That area in the far backyard just maybe turn into another workshop! Keep the vids coming!
Id definitely replace all 4 drive shafts with MIP Heavy Duty. The A arms I go with RPM, they are alot more durable and last longer. Both these upgrades come with lifetime replacement warranties as well. The Rustler is designed to chasis slap on landing so don't worry to much about it slapping. I've ran mine exclusively on skateparks for a few years now and it's been handling it fine.
Awesome its a fun car for sure. One thing I added since this is a mesh bag its in my amazon store under rc cars the tub chassis collects so much dirt the bag really helps keep stuff out
I know this vid was 10 years ago, but I was just wondering if since this bid if you have installed the sway bar kit for it? I have it on mine, because the GTR socks helped, but it was still unstable. After installing the sway bar kit, it was a lot better! I also have the MIP shafts and have had no problems with them either.
I think you meant 10 months I dont think its that old either lol I have not done a sway bar on it to me it runs good way better than it did before but I am no professional at this so I dont know but racing around my back yard it seems fine I need to get to a real track maybe I would notice more there, good info on the shafts I still have them sitting in the bag I have yet to break the originals on here
@digeolrc8586 you mean did it lower the car? Nope its still the same height and its adjustable you can tighten and loosen the springs up the car drives so much better now these are more responsive and you dont have the problem with the springs popping loose

Thank you very much. Yeah the back area in the shed is coming along nicely lol.
Those gpm axle snap easily if you hit bashing on concrete. Those blue shocks retract great when fill with oil close to the bladder bulb on the cover.

Usually, when I hit the "More", the poster gives links to what he used in the mods. You didn't even shown the parts labels.
I said links to all the parts are in my Amazon store sorry I am not perfect

Yes I did mean 10 months lol. As for the stock shafts, I broke one on my first run, and another on my second run.
Are those A Arms longer than the original? They seem to be.
Thats the stock length probably because its a lighter color they stand out more.
