Thanks for the upgrade review. The side-by-side comparison was an excellent way to demonstrate the difference. It was a quick, but very thorough explantnation of the upgrade parts.
I use that servo in one of my trx4s. It’s been performing well.
Thanks for putting that out there. Did not know it was out and about to paint my new body and wanted to do some upgrades as well. The Rustler 4x4 vxl was the one I started back in the hobby with and still love it. Now it can get a tune up.😎👍
I wish Traxxas also included the upgrade hubs in the new wilde-maxx kit for the xmaxx.

Love the rustler build can’t wait to see how it does off road with serious bashing. I have a rustler 4x4 vxl and have problems keeping it going till now as I would break axles every time I went out until I put the MIP axles in. I am also running rpm bearing carriers and c’s I really love seeing the rustler videos as I feel this is an affordable option that lots of people buy.
I have around $1100 into my Rustler 4x4. I bought the blue xl-5 and upgraded everything but the axles. I even added the T-Bone cage and skid plate.

One thing I would recommend, even with the GTR shocks, would be the sway bar kit! I put it on mine, and made a world of difference with the handling! The kit comes with 2 different sizes for the front and rear, and I used the heavier set. Cut body roll in half if not more. Also seems to cut down on front end lift on hard takeoffs.
"Extreme Heavy-duty" and its all plastic when traxxas sells aluminum everything for all the model's. Why not sell the samething with all aluminum towers and c-hubs and steel driveshafts??? Dropping the ball traxxas and missing an opportunity. It's so hard to find all the upgrades and them be in stock all in one place or in ten places peice it together. It's almost impossible to know everything you need thats also wanted and offered. Just sell a few different upgrades sets of varying components and prices. But also make an all in one for each color. It would be so easy for traxxas to do this. Mix and match color sets should even be possible for a company of Traxxas' size and age. You could even implement some cool stuff on your website that's showing like ans upgrade path like video games have kinda.
The solar flare body is one of the best looking bodies Traxxas sells but that’s just me lol

Check out the aluminum chassis brace Traxxas makes for the 4x4 platforms. I got a green one for my slash. Looks great.

Those Eco power servos are definitely worth every penny. Have them in some crawlers along with some 10th scale bashers. No issues.
I just installed a WO110T on my TRX6 yesterday. It was a really nice improvement over the stock Traxxas servo.
You have to step up the game.

NVM, saw it @ 3:15. I've been in hobby for 3 months and collected an EMaxx, 2 Redcat Terremoto 10s, and and MT410! The MT410 is almost too good, almost like driving the terremoto 10 more, the excelleration and power slides are so fun, great fam bonding tool, niece always wants to know about the trucks and to bash and race!

I noticed it said the roll center is altered to fit the larger axles. I’m assuming they raised it slightly so I’m curious to see how much that will affect handling?
Yes I definitely like the eco servos. Held up in all I've put in so far and far superior water proof.

Rustler 4x4 vxl was my first RC so man I was excited to see this video. I have mine overbuilt lol. Let us know how it drives with those badlands. I have some in the cart was almost ready to order. I just don’t like heavy wheels
Carriers should be aluminum like the ultimate slash. And just use mip axels. 10 years never broke a axel or toasted a bearing yet.
Holly smokes! I figured this was a $60 maybe $75 tops kit, but at $120 for plastic parts, and drive shafts? Not trying to hate on Traxxas but I'll just drive mine stock till they break and buy the $5 plastic part.
Sexy Rustler! I added this upgrade along with Sledgehammer tires to my sons Rustler. I would love to see a video on how to make the necessary camber/toe adjustments. Any help would be appreciated. Keep up the great work and great attitude!

Looks interesting. I have no need for this for my Rustler 4x4 as I'm running Tekno M6 Driveshafts front and rear, with RPM caster and RPM front and rear shock towers. But maybe i'll get this for my Slash 4x4 as i'm making it an orange build.
Watching your videos has renewed my interest in the hobby. Got a rustler vxl with the orange and blue body. My kids live it. O have been upgrading parts on it. Matching the new parts with body color. My daughters idea.

Can I use this kit on my regular Traxxas russtler vxl brushless
I just installed the heavy duty kit on my VXL. And I swear there's way too much play on the front wheels. I've taken it apart retightened all the screws making sure there was nothing loose and it just feels like the bearings to the drive shaft are way too loose

My son's Rustler VXL 4x4 was ripping the ears off the U-joints on the stock axles so I swapped them for the steel CV axles. Dang those things are pricey.

I also love how my slash ultimate DOESN'T do wheelies. I like it better when all four wheels stay on the ground. Much better control.
Hey Mark, quick question. We already have the steel spline driveshafts in our Hoss (stock ones broke on day 1). As well as steel wheel hexes. We just want to upgrade our front and rear caster blocks. Can we just buy those parts separately ? I notice AMAIN Hobbies website says the HD parts are only compatible with the HD kit so that is a bit confusing. Thoughts?

That thing looks amazing now 😍 Not sure about the finish in those proline tyres though (the 'mould line' running all the way round the centre of the tread. I'm assuming that's what it is?) You'd think the quality would be amazing with the prices they charge 🤷♂️😂

That is a awesome Rustler, I gotta say tho the b4 body is so so nice I'm gonna get that Rustler if and when Available in my area, gonna due a bash build myself, I believe that will be a ultimate bash R/C, the Rustler is already tough and no doubt they are fast with the VXL system. Great vid...

I think some people may have sticker shock initially, but if you think long term investment and durability it makes sense.

Yes. Just make sure low voltage cutoff is on. Read the manual.

Traxxas are genius. Sell you a $400 truck and then sell you a kit to upgrade it to how it should have come from the factory. Love Traxxas but they could easily do better on their stock trucks.
Knowing traxxas, if this kit came stock on their trucks that $400 price tag would be $500, easily. 🤣
