When Ray was grabbing Robert's bottom and Debra came downstairs and seen it ,it somehow reminded me of a scene from "Friends" where Joey was teaching Ross to talk dirty and Chandler walked into the room and heard it....
I like friends but their creators stole a bunch of ideas from various shows, starting with living single. I thought queen Latifah was exaggerating but she was right. After watching Friends repeatedly I began to noticed the story lines from other shows.

He was pissed off at Debra "making the fake house" and didn't see why they should spend time cleaning, when the place was already perfectly fine and it was only Bernie and Linda coming for dinner, so he deliberately sat watching TV whilst Debra faffed about unnecessarily, cleaning an already tidy house. He was trying to ignore her to make a point, despite all the bloody racket she was making with the vacuum cleaner. but he definitely DID know she was there.
Nope! Best one is when Raymond recorded Deborah during that time of the month. All women should be recorded & made to listen to themselves. Both sexes have it equally as hard.
"You're going down, to your basement so you can pretty it all up for BIG MOMMA." Next scene... "Why Robbie Why? How could you? In Raymond's basement?" Perfect placement.
You know, when the show's writers were interviewed, they all said that the episode ideas came their real life experiences. I always wanted to ask if Robert's frog lady date was someone's real life experience. Btw, I think I would have gone out with that frog lady a few times because, damn, she was hot.
I have about 40 episodes taped on my DVR right now, that being one of them. Only 5 are actually recorded at a time. All the rest I saved because they were too precious to delete.
One of the best shows of all time. Ray romano not only an an amazing actor and comedian but when he co-created this show he created magic. Wow. So damn funny and entertaining. Lol
I understand why you feel that way, but look at it through her point of view she does her share of the work but then his mother always intrudes on her, insults her but her husband stays silent. He never stands up for her. If she ask for a little support, here or there he steps back. He mostly lies to her over anything. Only thing he seems to want from her is sex. Hes not exactly the perfect husband. Actually all the characters are extremely flawed which is why this show was so great and unique.

I just see her as a frustrated woman who puts up with 4 crazy, dysfunctional people in her face all the time, coping the best she can. It wouldn’t be very funny if she didn’t vent and was just a long suffering martyr like my mom was. She wasn’t funny at all.
Ray was basically write as a likeable loser type Debra the tough moaning wife both were as bad as eachother really but Its a tv show the characters are always flawed
The part where ray is sleeping then he leans on debra and she pokes him in the eye is pretty funny. This is one of the best programmes for me, I love it.
Unfortunately this video missed all of my favorite funny moments. 1) when Robert took his shoes off & Ray said they smelled like a skunk that crawled out of the ass of another skunk. 2) the entire "Bad Moon Rising" episode. 3) the scene where Deb nailed Ray in the groin.
Clean quality entertainment. It doesnt get better than this
