If the show was fast forwarded to 2024, Ray's looking like a silver fox and Debra is looking like grandma romano
I actually think that Ray's killer witt DOES put him into Debra's league. Besides which that, pretty women lose their status once they start aging. Which would certainly even out any advantage she may have had over Ray. Maybe that's even a reason why she did marry him: because she was a little above his league. That'd certainly fit with her need to feel in control.

It amazes me how the beds are ALWAYS made in these shows...I never made our bed unless we were having a party, an appraiser was coming over or a real estate agent was trying to sell our house..LOL
I never made my bed ethier. I mean what was point? Who gonna see it? Nobody gonna come and see my room and it’s just gonna get messed up again in less than 24 hours
There are people who like things nice and clean, mostly us women would want our bed that way. Men usually get a pass, whatever float your boat though! Messy is ok but dirty would be a whole different story.😂😂

This TV series is part entertainment and part family and marriage counseling audio/video teaching aid. People can relate to the relevant common circumstances encountered in family life, and see how they appear to others, while offering amusing but helpful advice in the form of examples.
This particular issue is one of the most common problems that occurs in many marriages at one point or another. Moral of the story: intentionally denying intimacy will only lead to more issues.

They both make good points. Ray's not entitled to sex every time he's in the mood, and Debra shouldn't have flown off the handle when Ray did it just a few times. They BOTH needed to learn to respect each other.
Ray’s very lucky that Debra didn’t file for divorce. After all, any decent judge would give her custody of the children; and then Ray wouldn’t have to worry about her turning him down because she was taking care of the kids. He wouldn’t a wife or an ability to deride her for pointing out that she’s being a good parent.
The point of marriage, sex wise, is both are entitled to it. Sex could only be rejected under grave circumstances.

When I was younger, I had a partner who'd tease me for wanting sex more than she did.

Wow. This show is centered around a beta male and I never knew it until I grew up. Like this Raymond character is nauseating and to act like him in real life is asking to have your wife cheat.
