@Lunafreya_Nox dude, It's been confirmed like 10 times in different official sources that Cloud and Tifa's feelings ARE mutual 🤦🏻♀️ Nojima even wrote canon novels that reiterates Cloud and Tifa were eachother's childhood crushes. Cloud had feelings for both girls, so saying he doesn't love Tifa is simply a straight up lie 😂 not when the devs even gave them an exclusive kiss scene. Why would they do that if theres no mutual attraction lol

It's because of the shame he felt, that's why he didn't and couldn't mention Zack at all, or say about his death. It triggers a huge mental trauma, that he physically has a huge headache whenever something traumatic is brought up.

@bladerj nah he was having those headaches even before the defeated thw whispers n fucked up time. Back at the beginning of remake when sephiroth first appeared was when it began. N later on when Aerith mentions Zacks name otw to wall market.

This seems to be a plot hole. Aerith as a Cetra is supposed to feel when someone "returns to the planet", so she should know Zack has gone.
I think that's left ambiguous since, u know zack is alive in a different timeline. And in this timeline, aerith feels his touch from the other timeline through the comatose aerith. So perhaps she does believe that zack is alive
It was said several times in the game that Aerith lost the power she had, not to mention that she is half Cetra
@@wanderperrucho3588 She lost the power in the present. Not a few weeks before, when Zack died and Cloud dragged himself to Midgar, later being found by Tifa and joining Avalanche. Also remember in Elmyra's flashback we see little Aerith telling her "someone dear to her returned to the planet", showing she sensed Elmyra's husband's death without ever meeting him. To me, if she can do this she should be able to sense Zack's passing (which is hinted in Crisis core ending as we see Aerith gasping while Zack passes away).

Aerith didn't know zack was dead , cloud because of his trauma and mako poisoning forget all about him and tifa don't know what happen to him after the sephiroth massacre in her hometown .
@@mahi0565 aerith did know he had died she can sense when loved ones pass on to the next life. That's how she knew Elmyra's husband had died and returned to the planet. And at the end of the original crisis core game when Zack was killed she was seen praying and had a shocked and painful look on her face when she realized he was dead and she is clearly in mourning but she can't talk about him too cloud bc she will break his mind before it's time for tifa too heal clouds fractured memories.

Also, Cloud saved Zacks life way before he helped him. You all seem to forget cloud is a hero, that he killed Sepiroth, not Zack. That night Cloud saved Zack, Tifa and everyone else when he singlehandedly stopped Sepiroth. Zack knows thos, or should. Right now, Cloud has no idea who Zack is.
Cloud isn’t jealous, that’s just mako poison messing with him. He has mental trauma ever since Zack died. 5:01

Cloud is not jealous. Him inquiring about Aerith’s feelings is for US to know how she is feeling about Zack.
I never saw this as cloud being jealous, I saw it as cloud showing his indifference as that is part of his character. He doesn’t seem to care much either way and is just talking. That’s why he says to forget that loser, he’s indifferent and just doesn’t care, not jealous. He just got dragged into a deep convo with aerith about someone he doesn’t “know” and is just being indifferent cloud. But also, kind of just acting like a guy cutting to the chase and not really caring that she seems upset. That’s his character.
Aerith and tifa have a lot of off screen convos, and we know they have talked about “boys”, and this is us being able to have an idea on whether Aerith still thinks of Zack and how deeply. She still has feelings for him and hasn’t fully moved on and wants closure. Again, this scene is for us as the player to see where things stand for Aerith and Zack.
I loved this scene because I really wanted to know, and her talking to Zack’s parents happens in the og. Cloud is just being cloud, he doesn’t really care and is just there in the middle of it. “Not interested”. Even aerith and Tifa’s reaction to him saying “forget that loser” is him showing his lack of tact.

The loser line is so forced. And going on the comments why does everyone forget that cloud saved Zack, Tifa and everyone elses life way before they helped him? People understand it was Cloud who killed Sepiroth that night, not Zack right?

Most American voices are better than Japanese ones, Barret, Aerith, Yuffie voice combine perfectly
