These could be more up your alley than mine haha. I still think the barrel proof toasted is going to be good though
I enjoy the A124 EC. It’s got a weird sharpness I only get some days. Probably depends on what I was eating certain days lol
I noticed that as well but it is good its like a sharp oak

I won’t be trying the toasted rye as I don’t care for the regular rye. Mine tasted like mint and dirt. It’s a little better now, but I’m still not a fan. Great video my friend.
Haha well I haven’t had their regular rye but I trust you. I am on the fence for the toasted rye but I do want to try that barrel proof toasted bourbon

I don't like EC toasted either. I love oak, but that one tasted like young, green wood to me. I would love an EC double oak, though. I hope that actually becomes a thing.
Haha yes that’s a great way to describe ECTB it’s the youngest wood around. And yeah I hope they do a true double oak

You had mentioned your "bourbon journey" here. When did you start your journey? What were you drinking before bourbon?
I definitely started during Covid with neat bourbon was doing a lot of manhattans or old fashioneds before that as well as wine and still do drink wine

Absolutely I don’t get how they thought it was good to put out doesn’t compete with the other much more available shelters like WDO or 1910
@@bourbonbill I know! If anything, I'll put it up against a good BIB like Evan Williams or the Jack's whiskey and rye BIB. And now the shelves are flooded with the EC TB?! Maybe the strategy is, "Well, I can't find a Barrel Proof, so maybe I'll just get this stuff until I run across one..." I wish EC WOULD do a DB!
