Great piece of reversing there Luke with not a great deal of room to spare. Really cannot understand why these shippers cannot give absolute specific and definite addresses to avoid these confusing problems and putting you into impossible situations. Stay safe and take care.
Relocation is a bit serious. I do agree however that a bit of reconfiguring to have an area to turn around at the end of the yard should be in order at a minimum though
A total mess..it should be a requirement to have adequate turning for artics if you expect them to deliver. They need a serious tidy of the yard and an area to turn round marked out.
A wonderful display of your driving skill driving your truck. I enjoy watching your videos very much and I'm not a trucker. Look forward to the next ones.
After 6 heavy handballed deliveries I had to do a backhaul. The collection address given was the billing address of the supplier... a PO Box number and postcode for that suppliers accounts department... that was 15 miles away from their warehouse.
Good video as ever mate. I hate the building site drops, delivery details are so vague. Gawd knows why they can't put the name of the development on the paperwork.
Have you thought about getting a go pro fitted to the outside of the cab facing the trailer behind? I would love to see a side by side of you and the trailer cam while you're reversing. As a class 2 driver looking at getting into class 1 would be really interesting and good content! Love the videos
what's the test like to get the full license for the rigid ,is it done in a closed setting or are you on any open road ? I passed the theroy test so waiting to get going on learning how to drive .
@@IrishPablo94 I passed in January this year and the reversing manoeuvres were done in a controlled setting off-road (which was marked by my instructor as the rules have changed). Then on the test day, you go out with a assessor for a 1hour drive on the road, as long as you pass both of these you'll pass
I've been driving class 1 for 3 years. Watching your videos partly inspired me to get my licence. I'm glad I did, the moneys great on agency. I just do night trunking to a pallet hub, really easy work. Watching your videos still gives me anxiety 🤣. Some of the places you go and maneuvers you have to do... fair play to you mate, you know what you're doing 👏
When you were reversing down the road, I imagined you scraping all the cars parked down the road, hitting the bricks as you enter the property, whereby your truck is smashed beyond recognition, but you did miss the grass verge🤣🤣🤣🤣 Great bit of driving Luke.
I got severely reprimanded at one site for not following the pedestrian lines at one site. I went straight across too my truck about 8 meters away. The HSE officer caught me.
Hill Partnerships certainly need need to improve their procedures. The big housing developers have better signage -and when materials are short, never ever turn away a delivery !
Think rigids are actually alright bro, I’m driving one not too long, gonna go for C+E soon enough and it’s not too bad obviously “rigid” means stiff so turning etc is a bit awkward sometimes artics are easier, as Luke shows and my dad told me too.
@@jasonrussell5521 I sometimes have to drive our spare rigid from my artic and I hate them lol, they are a pain to turn and move and weirdly I can navigate an artic easier than a rigid. Trust me mate the moment you get the hang of an artic you'll remember this comment lol 🤣 drive safe 👍
Cracking vid as always! With it being my birthday next week I decided to get a 12-stack of yfood using your discount code to celebrate! 🥳😂 Jokes aside, ordered as they're nice the cold brew coffee they do are delish!
I Luke hope you are well buddy. Brilliant long reverse buddy you made it look so easy.your other drop our Luke finds it in the end it is hard work when you have not much to go off.take care buddy and keep healthy and above all good luck for the future phil.
Cracking video as always Luke, apparently it’s good for the brain to be given a vague delivery address or so say the people in the transport office! 😂 Keep up the good work and keep safe! 😂🚛
The truck trying to come into that builders yard after you Nelson transport from my home town first time ever seen one on a truck drivers vlog. Nice little company run a few scanias and a few ivecos.
Great video I've noted you run out of food and drinks on a regular basis, speak to Trucker Jay he will share his Army training on supplies which will save you money and prevent you from being hungry and thirsty. Pop in Home bargains Quick question when looking for addresses on new builds etc don't they give a contact number
Think I’ve accidentally hit the DB button making it boost sound. There’s 3 settings and I feel it’s on the louder one. I’ve been meaning to check and you’ve just reminded me. Cheers 🍻 🤙🏻
In terms of videography it’s a fantastic idea and one I’ve done in the past, trouble is, my GoPros are voice activated so that I don’t touch them whilst driving, one on the back wouldn’t hear me and the only way I’d be able to record and stop recording is to STOP what I’m doing, and press a button. Sure it’ll only take 30 seconds or so but it’s time out of my day. I try to put work 1st and videos 2nd and not let it interfere
you make reversing look so easy. when i learn my class 1 i'm worried i'm going to struggle with that... :) can't wait to leave working for the NHS after 14 years to become a HGV driver. :)
I'm so glad I don't deliver to building sites anymore, No fucker seems to want to help you and they treat you like you're a inconvenience to their day.
Dear Luke and other HGV drivers in the comments. If you know of companies that are taking on people to train to become HGV drivers for drivers that don’t have the funding and happy to sign a contract for so many years Any assistance/ advice would be grateful
Use to get lot false address when i did bit for SIG bristol via agentcy . YELLOW building site signs can be misleading . WHY dont they put contact tele number on delvs , tickets ?????.
Deliver to
The Field
Near Salisbury
Wiltshire
This! 😂
I once had a delivery for some random blokes name with the address:
TOYOTA
Burnaston
🙂🙂🙂🙂
That reverse was insane! Great job for keeping your head…
Great piece of reversing there Luke with not a great deal of room to spare. Really cannot understand why these shippers cannot give absolute specific and definite addresses to avoid these confusing problems and putting you into impossible situations. Stay safe and take care.
That place is ridiculous. Having to reverse over half a mile. They need to relocate their business.
Relocation is a bit serious. I do agree however that a bit of reconfiguring to have an area to turn around at the end of the yard should be in order at a minimum though
Normal Days! These people don't care about the Drivers Allways plenty of room for turning 🤬
A total mess..it should be a requirement to have adequate turning for artics if you expect them to deliver. They need a serious tidy of the yard and an area to turn round marked out.

Love you videos. Keep up the good work. Probably one of my favourite channels. You give a really good insight into trucking

I would love to have seen drone footage of that long-ass reverse into the yard

That was an incredibly long and awkward pause after you asked the guy for a place to turn around, lol, 3 business days 🤣👍
Thank you - another enjoyable video 👍👍
Wow that reversing was amazing, start my hgv adventure next week 😮
Welcome to the Eastern European republic of Wisbechistan Luke
Thank you 👍👍
I nearly got my HGV license before I went into teaching… this vid makes me so glad I didn’t don’t know how you do it mate
that reversing top notch
I measured the distance he had to back up in google maps and it was approximately 500 metres
Fair fucks man 😂 I’m always in amazement at your reversing skills haha 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Boast all you like Luke, great skills, big respect all you guys manoeuvring these trucks 👍
👏 u have some serious skills buddy.
Nice one Luke. Bit of a pain though. Have to say a great bit of reversing there. All the best. Mick
Great reversing that looked a real one corners and cars jeezy peeps well done.
I got severely reprimanded at one site for not following the pedestrian lines at one site. I went straight across too my truck about 8 meters away. The HSE officer caught me.
Many years ago when i was HGV 1 we used to use CB radios and just ask, 99.9% of the time somebody would know 😀
I spent 7 years at Parceline in the 90s. This was an everyday occurrence.
That’s some decent reversing skills right there folks!!!!!!!!!
Great to see you Vlogging again. Sure have missed your videos Luke.
Entertaining as always Luke. Need some mirror cams for the reverse manoeuvres.
Great driving skills !
A very good Tuesday morning to you all

Nice one Luke, thanks.👍👍
Bro that's expert level reversing.... 💯 and thst place should have room for trucks to turn wtf is that shitty place
Nothing worse than not being able to find the address.
Awsome bit of driving Luke.
Love your videos, I hate reversing my rigid a few meters, could never do what you've done here.
Artics are easier to reverse believe it or not.

Absolutely incredible skills 💪🏻 🚛
I wish you’d give it another gear in reverse! Pull the right hand leaver towards you!! 👌🏻
Had to make sure there wasn't another long black spot that makes me think there's a longer video 🤣
Me too 😂
Brilliant reverse, that yard shouldn’t be there.
Your videos are great Luke! So glad I came across your channel😁
Hi Luke from Trinidad 👍🇹🇹
Where did you get the strap winder Luke? Looks a good one.
ahh luke C in a HGV it is a pleasurers being a channel member to help you out and all of that. and i like your videos there amazing
Thankyou Colin. Really appreciate it bro 👊🏻
Should have told them to send a couple of flts down to you! What a stupid place for a builders yard
Great reversing

Hi luke great video mate
Would be great to see a view from outside the lorry when you’re having to do manoeuvres like that! GoPro or Insta360 style…
that app...what three words would be good if everyone could use it .
Wow nice reverse the but they should clear theyer yard for easy driving.
Deliver to:
Behind the hot water pipes
Third washroom along
Victoria station
Another great video
Luke still no signage on your truck!
Nice place to park, not far from Trucker Tim and his BMW M3
A very good Monday evening young man from Alan in Lowestoft buddy

Sharnbrook Bedfordshire
You have amber beacons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😮😮😮😮😮
How come your in the white daf now?
Further evidence that we need to use what3words a lot more
Too speed for HGV in uk is 55MPH?
Technically 60mph but most are limited to 56.

Tell us about ya air freshener, please?
It’s a “poppy” air fresher found in most services. I’ve gone for the pine smell 🌲
Have u got a new truck? No signing
Yes! We truck. Slightly newer. It’s now G14
#Lukecinahgv It would be great to have a camera on the back so we can see what yer on about!
Your some boy at reversing an artic
Hi
Are you chasing Lena or vice versa?
I’m very happily married 😂 so is she. She will feature in a video on a couple of videos time tho. She’s a good laugh
@@lukecinahgv Just certain she posted a loading at your first pickup this week.
She’s one of our subcontractors. She works for us.
@@lukecinahgv That make’s sense! I thought there must be more pick up and delivery sites than I was seeing across these vlogs. 😊

Yeah something like that
