What's up brother? Haven't commented in a while. Love you brother. Keep up the videos especially handling and housing.

the only positive thing is that many species from colder climates will enjoy a proper and long hibernation this year.

Supporting rescues def shows that the animals are your top priority... I wish more breeders were that way! Money is a priority sure, but profit for the sake of profit should not come at every and any cost to the animals themselves.

An excellent video as always. Very thought provoking.
It's true that reptiles make more sense for many people now that many households are empty during the day, if a python goes a day or two without interaction he's no more or less happy, try that with a dog and see what awaits you when you get in from work. As a family we'd love a dog, but there's just no way for the foreseeable future, it wouldn't be fair on it.

I was so pleased to see another video so quickly following the last one - You make so many valid points here, deffo food for thought - It's encouraged me to get a couple of spare vivs set up, which are adaptable, so I can offer foster placements to local rescue's.

Thanks for covering this difficult subject so thoroughly. It's so good that you are helping to take in animals. I really hope that the government will give help to businesses with their energy costs soon.

I fear for the more formative, less established shops. No savings and rising bills. Its a diffuclt time. Hopefully the prime minister will announce something sooner rather than later.

There are a few things on my list that I'm going to do without if push comes to shove like starbucks , the new pair of shoes and the like or those more expensive food items. But my pets are not on that list.
    love your videos!

It’s hard times for all hopefully be eased a little with as you say the price cap I can see people struggling and if it’s a case of not having that kabab or not having those pints down the local so be it but some real cases of where people cannot afford to feed themselves and cases where the animal could suffer through their owner not being able to afford to care for their needs. It’s a double edged sword. luckily I have never been in the situation where I have had to give up a pet as my pets are my family and although I am new (beginning of this year) to the reptile keeping I have had cats dogs (horses hens ducks) luckily with the horses my dad when I was a kid had the forethought to buy some land so we don’t have to rent land stable as that cost could have forced some difficult decisions and same with any of my fury or scaly family members. Had the price cap not happened this time next year I very much could have been in a situation where as an animal lover I would never want to be in.

In light of the electric situation do people see temperate species becoming more popular in the future?

Great video and really well put. And great work promoting rescue animals on a Wednesday. You'd not see a pedigree dog breeder promote rescue dogs that way.
Keep up the good work and educating people.
Put pets first over things like Netflix, Spotify and the like if you need to save cash.

My concern is always that a dog or a cat gets sent to a rehoming centre, reptiles are often just thrown out. It's disgusting and sad but true.
