Would love to see a more technical series taking these apart at a component level. And other effects would be cool to explore as well. Everyone knows what a reverb sounds like and there are hundreds of youtube videos on how to use them. But few can articulate the interesting math and signal processing taking place under the hood. Great work, keep them coming.
Continually blown away by the quality of your content Kevin, and your contributions to Bitwig. I only just now connected you with the Audio FX packages. Thanks for your generosity!!
Thanks SO much for these reverbs! I especially appreciate them for use in drum processing. Was struggling to get a nice 80s style gated reverb snare with the factory reverb.
Amazing! This covers one of the weakest spots in Bitwig, a lush algo reverb for pianos! Thank you so much! I hope Bitwig gives your presets some more prominent „space“, I didn‘t know about it until this video. But it also confirms to me, it needs an expert like you to really leverage the potential from Bitwig..Reverbs are not trivial by no means at all😕 I have now a dozen bought Reverbs and still sometimes think none of them is right-I personally feel happier with a convolution reverb, less issues with ringing, a more organic feel to it-however algoreverbs are still cool for smaller tweaks and better combinability with other stuff and lower CPU usage, definitely needed! If you make A build-your-own-reverb video, I will watch it, at least for the first three hours!😁
These are great presets. It would be great to really have a technical walkthrough of any single one of these and how you built it in the grid so we could learn to use the grid better, like you.
Thanks for the presets; it's nice to know they are available: I wasn't aware! One small bit of advice: When you are explaining a difference and change the setting or the knob or the button (e.g., 12-bit mode), stop talking when you change the mode so we can hear the difference. When you A/B, we expect to be able to hear it, not your voice-over. If we're going to invest all the time to hear your explanation, we can invest an additional 5 seconds per parameter to get an idea of what it does to the sound. It's pretty frustrating to not be able to verify with our ears. Thanks.
Nice one! I like the sound of those. I’m inspired to learn how to build my own reverbs in the grid now. Any chance of a tutorial on that topic in the future ? Or could you point me to another recourse to learn it please ?
Maybe I could do a video about building reverbs, but I'm not sure how much interest in that there might be out there. But I think reverse engineering "DVerb V100" is a good place to start.
Watched your video again. Still really Keen for a tutorial on building reverbs! Could that topic be something that you’re likely to reconsider for your new expert level grid tutorials?
Yes you can, it is mentioned in the intro. They are part of this pack: www.bitwig.com/en/bitwig-studio/sound-content/audio-FX-space,-time,--color.html and all you need to do is to go to the bitwig menu, go to packages and check the 'Extended Collection'.

Can't believe no one has commented on the AMAZING piano solo you zoned out with at 15:31 !!!! WOW!!!..... Great video bro!
Thanks! I really appreciate the compliment ☺️
@@AudioDigital yeah shit dude that was really nice.

What kind of sorcery is this?
Leprechaun-type of magic, you should know :)
lov it
I was thinking to buy a Valhalla reverb. I think I won't!
Wow, that's high praise! Thanks for your comment :)
