18/46 gearing REALLY wakes the rig up. Can’t do back to back crazy full throttle pulls in the grass without heating up but it wheelies so much better and feels much more responsive even just blipping around carrying a tire through corners Haven’t had any gear issues with the stock gears. Even bashing and doing backflips off fences it did good, don’t and on throttle 👍🏽
It’ll also kill your servo if you have it turned up too high while you’re just bashing around. Really heats up the servo. if you use it constantly on high grip terrain
@@CRAIGMAC-RC what should my TSM be at for different surfaces? I know factory is 50% and I’ll be on a mix of grass, road, and the occasional skate park/trail. I surprised the hell out of myself and found that I have retained 90% of my driving ability from years ago ie air control/braking properly for corners and control in general. While I plan to put it through its paces and enjoy it I don’t go out of my way to make risky jumps and break things as the more it’s in the shop or I’m having to repair things this expensive the more I begin to lament my decisions lol. I’ve already gotten hardened steel pinion gears as they stripped on the maiden voyage under very normal use. Just want to make sure I give myself the best setup for longevity😃
Saving up for an XMAXX cant wait
If you didn't grab one yet, now is the time they're on sale $200 off!
@@Hotcheeto50 Did you ever get one?
@@flhandster4395 I got the money saved up. I just have not pulled the trigger.
Motor mount washers are a really good cheap hop up. 6 or 7 bucks and it’ll keep your gear mesh intact 👍🏽
Cool color scheme on the XMaxx. Just curious, have you ever run the XMaxx on 6S? If so, any thoughts? Thanks.
@@flhandster4395 I think I ran it once and it’s cool if your not used to power but once you run it on 8s you’ll never go back lol
Version 6?? How’s that possible when they are currently on 5?
Awesome truck man

Yea I realized during the fence back flips 🤦🏻♂️

Could you explain? I just got one and as a 26 year old it’s been about 10 years since I used them regularly but I want to make sure this thing lasts.
@@WillCall_WRX yea man what’s your questions?
