Hello 2KK family, I'm a 50-year young perimenipause woman who's in remission from chronic Rheumatoid Arthritis. I was on a weekly biologic injectible medication "Enbrel," with other prescriptions like Celebrex, Methotrexate, Tramadol & Prednisone at times that made my immune system sick and my body obese & weak starting at the age of 27. I started eating a ketogenic lifestyle in September 2019, and I'm mainly carnivore "Ketovore" now. This way of eating is the only thing that has helped my weight loss of 60 lbs, severe pain, inflammation, and other metobolic health conditions. Also, I started implementing lifting heavy weights, strength training & balance exercises 4 times a week last April. It has been a new life for me! You can seek your true health every day, starting with what you eat/drink & don't eat/drink. Peace & Health, Christine Peters
Joe and Rachel make so much sense. Yet, I realize sometimes I need to pay closer attention to valuable messages from community to push through a rough patch. Sharing people's journey to better health is powerful. Nice knowing we have a designated safe space when necessary. I've been frustrated and questioning everything lately over weight gain/stall, poor sleep, recurring pain and stiffness, carb creep and other inconsistencies. Thankfully, watching this insightful replay gave me practical tips and I'm feeling much more encouraged. Love you guys and respect all your efforts here.
I got Keto Brick's email the other day too. I have several bricks so I'm debating on ordering more or seeing if I can wait out the shortage. I normally only eat the bars when travelling. Right now I'm experimenting with eating a really high fat lower protein diet. I'm testing Dr. Boz's theory that eating this way will get the body used to using ketones and will eventually need to better fat loss when I lower the fat intake a bit. I was eating over 200g of protein but am now focusing on trying to lose some more belly fat.
I have tried Weight Watchers theee times(!!!!) as well as dieting with the help of a dietician. Keto is the diet my doctor approved, and oddly enough, it's the easiest diet I've ever tried and one that really will be easy to stick to forever. I miss bread, but find that chaffles work for many things. I am researching actual bread recipes so that when I have a migraine, I can stumble into the kitchen for a sandwich without cooking. Thanks so much for your content. The two of you are so much fun, and so informative that you're a great sour e of inspiration. You're alsoway better than anything on daytime tv!
Every time I drink a glass of red wine, I feel like I have the flu. I love red wine with ribeye steak but I don’t drink it anymore for that reason. When I was younger and eating trash food I could drink without feeling bad, but no more. My body rejects it.
I appreciate your advice about being incrementally better. I've listened to so many carnivore podcasts that I feel like a failure eating low carb. But I feel so much better. Better is better.
QQQ: what about homemade kombucha? I ferment extra so a mild taste of vinegar. I'm hoping for lower sugar. Many gut issues from massive infections in the past, I like the probiotic content vs yogurt made with milk which increases mucus in my bronchial tubes. Is it okay? Drink about 4ounces a day.
I am drinking about 4oz/day as well. I use 3/4 cup of sugar to start and ferment for 10 days. No issues for me after 2 weeks. Getting ready to make more

That I can't have it. Then he tells me that I'm not eating good for my body. It's irritating me.
Hi
How to measure my ketone? Is there a meter that I need?
Just ordered some Frannie's from Amazon. Can't wait to try it.

Tried keto brick. VERY dry. Not a fan. Sorry
Did you try melting it and making it in to smaller portions? The melting seems to make a huge difference
@@brendashope1558I agree! After they re-solidify their texture changes for the better in my experience. 🎉
