- Playthrough of Air Twister on Apple Arcade. Played on an Apple iPad.
Fairly close to being a no-hit run, but still have some room to improve with that. Seems like going for high score involves grinding the enemies spawned by the final boss, which doesn't really interest me.
If you haven't played this and have a device that supports it, I highly recommend trying it out. I had a fun time learning the patterns and getting good enough to do this playthrough. I would also recommend playing in arcade mode instead of the main mode: the main mode involves grinding playthroughs to upgrade your character with enough health to beat later parts of the game. You do get healed a bit between levels, but it takes a while for that to become useful. Arcade mode ignores all that and just gives you a specific amount of starting health. The other modes give you much more health than what I'm given here. Play on touchscreen if you can too. It lets you swipe to home and attack from anywhere on the screen. Controller has a bit of aiming, but it mostly involves going directly in front of enemies to aim. Makes it very annoying to fight some bosses and enemies.
Of course, the music is incredible. Support the game and the artist by buying the CD!

Great Playthrough! Looks fun just like SEGA Arcade hits. I would buy this for a new Sega console; unfortunately, I dislike the Apple corporation.
It's a shame it's exclusive to these devices. I'm sure Apple gave them a ton of money for it, but it would have at least been nice to have it on Android or a non-subscription service so that you can own it. Hopefully it won't be stuck there forever.

Does arcade has to be done in one sitting or can you save in bewtween and come back the next day and continue?
I believe it's one sitting for any of the modes. It's a fairly short playthrough, so it shouldn't be too much of an issue.
Do you have to move the character or is she just floating aground freely ?
You move the character and aim with one finger/stick for each.
What do you think about the game?.
It's ok. I enjoyed it as a relatively low-budget throwback to Space Harrier, but by the time I found out how the touch controls worked, it felt way too simple and uninteresting. The flight sections in Kid Icarus Uprising have more variety visually and mechanically. The music is still the best part, completely unique compared to other games like this.

It’s beautiful looking game but the music makes it seem wierd and corny like for a reason I heard material girl at the end of the first boss fight like what the hell are they thinking

I was gonna buy until I saw this video - horrible, boring gameplay and some of the worst music I’ve ever heard in a video game. I’ll just continue to play my SEGA Ages PS2 Space Harrier remake…
