A 50-year marriage is rare these days for either celebrities or non-celebrities. Barry said in an interview that when each of his brothers died, he was at odds with them at the time. That must've been difficult to deal with. As he also said, he's "the last man standing." Best to him and eternal rest to the other brothers, all of them very talented.

I was especially saddened by the death of Robin, who was the best pop tenor of a generation, my favourite of the brothers, and always seemed very natural- including reviewing the papers on Sky News. Going home to record Ellan Vannin was a worthy swansong for him.

No way I’d pick McQueen over Barry! He’s a good actor but a player. Barry was the better choice and the best looking too. But Linda is also a beautiful lady. Match made in heaven. Bee Gees are my all time favorite band. I’ve been listening since late 60’s and continue today. It’s amazing they had hits in every decade until Maurice passed. I miss him and Robin. I’ve never heard such a phenomenal voice as Robin Gibb. He was also a very handsome,smart man. Maurice was such a prankster and handsome man. Always had a smile on his beautiful face. Barry was so handsome it hurt to look at him. It was like looking at the sun, stare to long and you’ll go blind! Kudos to Barry and Linda for a long and happy marriage and for keeping their family together through thick and thin. Those children are so lucky to have them as role models and loving parents. I did exactly that when I married my second husband ... Unfortunately, just like my first husband, my second remembered I had a "best friend" so I managed to lose both my husband's to two different "best friends"... Linda made a better choice than I did, obviously and her wonderful Barry chose the right woman to be his wife. _50_ years is amazing and something to inspire us all. (even though, for me, it's far too late to try again, or to reset former errors which I must've made to drive _two_ men into the arms of other women.😢😢)

I have followed the Bee Gees since 1967, I was 7 years old back then. I still love there music, I bought the 45 Holiday b/w Every Christian lion hearted man back then, soon bought the album Bee Gees 1st after that. My favorite period of there music was 1967 to 1972, but I enjoy all their music!

They were my music addiction in the 70’s and I danced my arse off. She’s a beautiful woman now and they’re look lovely together. I know it’s hard for Barry I’ve died 6 times but we must go on. It was one of the first I heard, and my very talented ex-musician husband used to sing and dedicate it to me. He resembled Barry, too. I saw the Bee Gees in concert in Austin, Texas, 1979. It was beautifully and magically performed. Seems I wept through most of it. Wish he would return to Austin. To hear him live once again is on my bucket list. Ha! We'd love to have him visit. Not a slight, but a bonus Fact. Barry Gibb also produced the Diana Ross album Eaten Alive. With the exception of the title track (that one was written by Michael Jackson), Barry also wrote and sang backup on all the songs. It has ALWAYS warmed my heart that Sir Barry and Linda Gibb have been married all these years. To know that she "Wouldn't have it" in their house shows true love and devotion to her family. I have ALWAYS loved the Bee Gees and was sad when Andy passed so young even when he was doing his own, his harmonies with his brothers was amazing. When Maurice passed it was like torture but they kept singing...then Robin....I am so happy that Barry is singing again with his children, and neices and nephews. He is a beautiful person. His music makes me happy and his collaboration album was a beautifully done. I told someone once I had wanted the Bee Gees to sing Wedding Day at my wedding...well...never found the right guy apparently. On the 12th April 1968 three friends and I went to see them at the ABC Cinema in Edinburgh and managed to talk/beg the Manager Mr.Lovell to meet them back stage! Was wonderful 😊.

Saw the Bee Gees on their first British tour, when the band included Australians Colin Petersen and Vince Melouney, and they also had a 30 piece orchestra on stage with them! It was pre release of their single “Words” so the first time I heard it was them singing it live. At the end, many people threw their autograph books onto the stage. I threw mine and hit Maurice on the lower leg! When claimed back from the stage door a few days later, Robin, Maurice and Vince had signed it but I was gutted not to have Barry’s autograph.

A 50-year marriage is rare these days for either celebrities or non-celebrities. Barry said in an interview that when each of his brothers died, he was at odds with them at the time. That must've been difficult to deal with. As he also said, he's "the last man standing." Best to him and eternal rest to the other brothers, all of them very talented.

I was especially saddened by the death of Robin, who was the best pop tenor of a generation, my favourite of the brothers, and always seemed very natural- including reviewing the papers on Sky News. Going home to record Ellan Vannin was a worthy swansong for him.

No way I’d pick McQueen over Barry! He’s a good actor but a player. Barry was the better choice and the best looking too. But Linda is also a beautiful lady. Match made in heaven. Bee Gees are my all time favorite band. I’ve been listening since late 60’s and continue today. It’s amazing they had hits in every decade until Maurice passed. I miss him and Robin. I’ve never heard such a phenomenal voice as Robin Gibb. He was also a very handsome,smart man. Maurice was such a prankster and handsome man. Always had a smile on his beautiful face. Barry was so handsome it hurt to look at him. It was like looking at the sun, stare to long and you’ll go blind! Kudos to Barry and Linda for a long and happy marriage and for keeping their family together through thick and thin. Those children are so lucky to have them as role models and loving parents. Unfortunately, just like my first husband, my second remembered I had a "best friend" so I managed to lose both my husband's to two different "best friends"... (even though, for me, it's far too late to try again, or to reset former errors which I must've made to drive _two_ men into the arms of other women.😢😢)
I’ve ALWAYS adored THE BEE GEES Just like millions of others during their careers. My husband was a musician so I understand how hard that lifestyle can be on a marriage even on a smaller, more local bands. Groupies are brutal. So I’m SO SO proud to know that Barry & his lovely wife have stayed married & happy marriage for half of a century. It’s good to know that couples make it til death do us part like our parents did. I wouldn' t be so quick to give him credit for having not done drugs. When the question came up in an interview, Barry named the chose drug of each of the brothers. He stated his was "weed"/marijania sp? Maurice was alchohal sp?, Robin prescription drugs, Andy Cocaine.

"In The Now" is a masterpiece imo. It took a few listens to get into it, but now it's right up there with all my BG's faves. "Shadows" "In The Now" "The End of the Rainbow"

In all the video' s I have seen of their various interviews w/"talk show" host over the yrs. they have all been consistent that Leslie, (their only sister), is the OLDEST! Please reveal the source of who said Barry was the "oldest" of the siblings. We have known he has always been the oldest "son".

Barry Gibb is not only successful, talented, and very handsome, he is also an excellent family man. No matter what year it was, I never saw him away from Linda and his children. They went everywhere with Linda, hand in hand, on tours, concerts and TV shows, including their teenage years. Even at the peak of his fame and handsomeness, he never leaves his wife's hand, looks at her with loving eyes, and shouts his love for her with the singer on tour 1979. He doesn't see the women chasing him and always remains loyal to Linda. Robin and Maurice have a show where they make fun of the lights going out at 8 o'clock in their house and Barry not leaving the house. Barry says that parties and nightclubs do not interest him and that he likes to stay at home with his wife and children. I'm sure they've had some tough times on their way to fame, but it seems their love has prevailed. He was always one step ahead of Linda and his siblings. It was one of the first I heard, and my very talented ex-musician husband used to sing and dedicate it to me. He resembled Barry, too. I saw the Bee Gees in concert in Austin, Texas, 1979. It was beautifully and magically performed. Seems I wept through most of it. Wish he would return to Austin. To hear him live once again is on my bucket list. Ha! We'd love to have him visit. Not a slight, but a bonus Fact. Barry Gibb also produced the Diana Ross album Eaten Alive. With the exception of the title track (that one was written by Michael Jackson), Barry also wrote and sang backup on all the songs. It's one of her best albums, and if you are a fan of Barry's, you should give it a listen.

It has ALWAYS warmed my heart that Sir Barry and Linda Gibb have been married all these years. To know that she "Wouldn't have it" in their house shows true love and devotion to her family. I have ALWAYS loved the Bee Gees and was sad when Andy passed so young even when he was doing his own, his harmonies with his brothers was amazing. When Maurice passed it was like torture but they kept singing...then Robin....I am so happy that Barry is singing again with his children, and neices and nephews. He is a beautiful person. His music makes me happy and his collaboration album was a beautifully done. I told someone once I had wanted the Bee Gees to sing Wedding Day at my wedding...well...never found the right guy apparently. Anyway, to chose a favorite song, there are just way too many to be honest. Thank you for this beautiful video.

Saw the Bee Gees on their first British tour, when the band included Australians Colin Petersen and Vince Melouney, and they also had a 30 piece orchestra on stage with them! It was pre release of their single “Words” so the first time I heard it was them singing it live. At the end, many people threw their autograph books onto the stage. I threw mine and hit Maurice on the lower leg! When claimed back from the stage door a few days later, Robin, Maurice and Vince had signed it but I was gutted not to have Barry’s autograph.

0:40. Barry Gibb is not the oldest of 5 children. He was born in 1946 and he is the second oldest. He has a sister named Leslie who was born in 1945. She is the oldest of the 5 children. However, you would be correct in stating that Barry was older than his three brothers Robin, Maurice and Andy. People forget about Leslie Gibb because she was never a part of the family music business. But she does have the distinction among her brothers in that she is their only sister and has only been married once and is still living in Australia since the time that her parents first moved their children there from their birthplace on the Isle of Man.

One of my daughters was at school with his sister Leslie's children, his niece and nephew, in Australia. His sister is a dog breeder and shows her dogs.
