Who told you that? I bought a new 1996 Chevy S10 single cab Vortec 4.3 code X with a 5 speed NV3500 Tranny made by Muncie and a 308 gear. It had a rear 3 shock suspension factory. It was a bullet! My friends told me it was an abortion.
