Late 90's early 2000's this wasn't bad. Like some have said, 250hp in a v8 pony car was pretty good. Not too bad... My 4.3L V6 stick truck made around 300ish with a Gen 1 Whipple 2.1L/ carb and E-98 back in the early 2000's. It was a huge project back then and it took almost 8 months to get her ready for the first drive ... lol....
I look at it like this..... the truck increased power by around 45-50 percent at the rear wheels. That 60 some increase is probably closer to 80 hp at the crank. Not bad for what is essentially mild boost.
Any centrifugal supercharger or turbocharger needs some kind of intercooler. It would've been really cool to see this kit with a water to air intercooler with a separate reservoir for ice water.
