Both. Ford and GM and VW build cars there but they also import them. The Taurus he's driving was built in the USA and imported down there. The VW busses you see driving around with him were built there.

Absolutely love that 3.0L Vulcan noise! That is the same engine I have in my 1996 Ford Aerostar V-6 and I love hearing it get-up-and-go as well. Must be very comfortable riding in a Taurus LX instead of those little hatchback crap boxes I see you driving around. :) My Aerostar is very comfortable, and I get about 24 MPG US with it. Pay about $3.40 per gallon of unleaded regular. Very good video. I must do one of my Aerostar van!

Gasolina; o consumo é o esperado para um carro pesado e com motor 4.3 V6 de projeto antigo e câmbio automático! Mas vale a pena cada litro de combustível, é um ótimo motor! A manutenção é simples e as principais peças de desgaste (freios, suspensão, filtros, juntas, etc.) podem ser encontradas com preços justo facilmente. Dificilmente dá problema, mas qualquer peça mais rara de achar por aqui pode ser trazida dos EUA com preço baixo!

Caramba na gasolina ou diesel? Eu tenho um eclipse 2.0T q faz 7.8 na cidade e eu ja vivo indo abastecer ele rsrs.. Mas aproveitando, quanto a peças e manutenção é facil de lidar com esse carro?

It's very hard to find parts here, but it's very easy to import from the US. Thus, the price is very cheap, even with shipping cost, but you have to wait around 15 days for delivery. The price of gas here is about USD 1.56 a liter or USD 5.92 per gallon. To drive 100km it takes around 4.5 gallons or 17 liters.

hey this car is very reliable.. i think this is one of the most underated ford ever. my ford taurus 1994 is still running and it seem like its gona run forever. even though redy to get a new car, im nver selling my taurus. m 27 yrs old and i love the classic look of the 90's.

Yeah... really sounds great... I have a 98 Taurus, but there are lots of issues about having a car like that in Brazil... like, all of pieces must be imported from US, lots of holes in the streets (at least in São Paulo) and the ridiculous obstacles for such a low car... I'm thinking of trading it for an EcoSport (brazilian Escape-like Ford)...

Tudo bem! O motor é original, mas não é o mesmo das S10/Blazer que existem no Brasil. Esse é um Vortec 4.3 V6 CPI (central port fuel injetion) e VIN Code "W" com 195hp's originais. A única coisa feita no escape foi a retirada do silenciador! Tenho um Flowmaster que consegui trazer com muito custo, mas não ficou tão bom o ronco! Um abraço!

Watch Fiat Doblo's videos. Fiat Doblo looks like a squared box with wheels! I imagine how good it runs!

my v6 taurus has no pickup whatsoever. but when you do floor it, it sounds pretty tough.

I love my '95 Taurus. It is a good car :p
