- Blowing up a snowmobile is never super fun. But doing it 3 times in one season gets very expensive! We're back for the 2021/22 season and Rick talks about what went wrong last winter. Everything from breaking the crank in the two stroke triple to putting a new motor in the 2018 Arctic Cat Mountain Cat at 4000 miles. The two stoke turbo is still down for the count.
If you're new to our channel, we post videos about snowmobile tuning. Lots of tips and tricks for maintaining and modifying your sled and sled trailer. Mostly just DIY sled stuff for people who like to get their hands dirty or tinker in their garage.

Can’t wait for more videos! Learned a lot last year, first year sledding. Pulled my motor, greased crank bearings, replaced seals. Your carb video last year helped too.
I'm just here for the sled videos..they say bad luck happens in 3's..so you should be good to go this season
Man,,,Artic cat and cracked canoe!!!perfect
Appreciate all the work you put into the videos, you're a great teacher for learning, helped me fix and maintain my cat, happy trails digit9

Good to see your back man looking forward to your vids.
Your dead sled pull up your ramp looks pretty painless. What equipment were you using?
Was a rig from Pocket Ox , we did a couple vids on it ! Works Awesome !
Thats sucks buddy fresh motor sounds bad ass
I need help and this seems like the only pace to ask somebody 96 Arctic cat 580 powder special and it’s runs ruff on start up and is bogging when I give it throttle but if I hold it at 2grand it then has all of the throttle response but it dose also die randomly and takes about 30 to 40 minutes of pulling on it for it to start agian
Almost sounds like the chokes are on ? Check all your cables ! Maybe clean carbs ?
@@DIGIT9 yes thanks I figured it out it was the tss switch along with some spark cables and a carb clean
Fix the 1200 it the best sled ever
Workin on it !
First?
I invested in a 4-stroke. No more worries, just ride. I’ve owned them all and every 2-stroke is just junk. End of story
Buy a Yamaha
Hoping on a good year. Im in MN and not enough yet. Rockin a '96 ZRT 600 and my boy has an '87 Jag 440 fanner. Theyre washed, waxed and loaded, just playing the waiting game. Looking forward to your vids.
Excellent, you’ll be fired up for our next videos about button clutches!
@@DIGIT9 sweet just what I need too!
Thanks for the videos, really been enjoying them. No snow around where I live but love seeing that 2 stroke triple in action.. any motor rebuild videos on that thing would be greatly appreciated. Cheers from Australia
Last season I blew my sled up once, fixed it, blew it up again, bought a different sled then blew that one up smh haha
I'll be watching. Love this Channel!!! I'm staying tuned! Got my sled ready to go. Snapped a Jackshaft in my F800 Sno Pro! Oh what fun it is! Have a Merry Christmas
Appreciate that D! Thanks for watching man.
Broke both of mine,so I bought another 😁
Buy a Japanese built yamaha
Very true, but those days are long gone with the yamacats they have now
@@RI-td3gv ya I had a yamacat what a pile of garbage, very much like a Chinese quad
Braaaaapp!!😅
Welcome back!!! Just finished using your vidios to aline my skis.... your right what a pain in the ass
That’s awesome! Thanks Matthew.
I had a topend rebuild to do this year, I went through everything on my sled so it's ready for Break in
Maybe a video on how to make stiffeners for the handlebars on the old wedge sleds, because my steering post has alot of side to side movement.
Been wondering where you've been, keep them videos coming!
Can't wait
maybe yell louder in that echo chamber garage.
Our location sound and post production crew must have been on vacation. Sorry we failed to meet the sonic standards you've come expect on UA-cam.
