- Two-stroke boosted mod sled snowmobile tuning session in the mountains. The turbo 1200 twin is a Brent Linderman motor on a Ski-Doo Summit X base with Garrett Turbo. Built by Mountain Magic. Ricki was having a little trouble with the Boondocker box but user error is the culprit. We hate to beg, because it sucks, but UA-cam subscription metrics are important. You might have to run 2 maps. My M7 has a different map, that's richer, until the pipe gets hot. Once it's hot I go to my second map that is a bit leaner.
Wish you good luck on learning how to tune! Maybe some day you can give us tutorials on tuning turbo sleds!

Nice, I run PSI top end on my 800 Polaris twin and comes standard on my Genesis 1500 triple Polaris engine in a CR tunneled 174" custom sled, Who needs Viagra with a monster like that.. Best tuning tool I found with my triples is the race pac and a auto meter analogue water temp gauge, that's it. Lower mainland base but once lived in Revy and Golden, beautiful B.C. indeed.

Had a turbo on my Yamaha 600 years ago. Took it off after several rides. Didnt care for the big hit when it spooled up when road riding, skis lifting mid turn wasnt my idea of a good time. lol

This dude, looks, sounds, messes with skidoo engines, and storms to the peak of the mountain while constantly blasting a rooster tail directly in my face, just like my uncle.
Probably just laughs at me and leaves when I get stuck in deep snow like him as well.
Which I deserved for having been 13yo and riding a 380cc in his vicinity. My bad.

My uncles is (was😔) Brad Story so I was lucky enough to grow up around these kinds of monsters. While cool absolutely, there’s just nothing like these new chassis. And with the ease of getting 250-280 reliable pull and ride HP, it’s hard to want to ride things like this. Please don’t take me wrong, I absolutely love these crazy old full mod Frankenstein monsters, but they just aren’t enjoyable to ride. Personally though, half the fun is building creations like this so I still do plenty of tinkering even though I ride new stuff. I’ve got my 2022 165 Summit Expert Turbo down to 394lbs (Dry) so it’s just too much fun. I have a Lynx Shredder on the way so I’ll be playing with that this year. A ton of work in carbon fiber, but that is my business anyways so I will be releasing a lot of this stuff to the public this winter. I have parts for the new Matryx Polaris coming too. Hopefully there will be some interest. Keep up the good work! Awesome!
Love posts on old school tuning! Most don't understand the way it was before today's ecu's plug and play performance. Takes time and knowledge, you got it! I ran Psi995 for years until I couldn't get parts anymore, how do you find sourcing parts for your engine? Hopefully Brent can keep you supplied,because Bruce is a joke! Yes Sir it is ! CPC dual inj throttle bodies !

Not 100% sure how to do that, but you would need a ECU that would support EFI ! You have TPS and timing issues to deal with ! Its not easy to convert !
