The full throttle bog sounded more ignition related ... either overheating or detonating if the CDI has DET on it. The CDI will cut the ignition in either case.
🧐💯👍👍snow storm in the upper koyukuk valley Timmy, that’s an awesome snow mobile you have to say, take care my friend 👍💯🤩Hello Matt🤟keep sendin! 🇬🇧😎Overland Dave
Is sleds to nice to just take up there and beat to death and blow it up that's crazy but I guess when you're probably born into brand new $25,000 fuel injected snowmobiles and never adjust a carburetor before in your life all right I'm out
I still remember when those edge chassis were new. In fact I've still got my 2000 yamaha mountain max, I bought new, although it never gets used, with my Axys Rmk, and modded M7 spare sled. At the time it's 141, and the Skidoo summit 151, we're the longest tracks available. If you wanna go old, but still almost as capable as the modern sleds, find a clean 2005-06 M7, or any M series up to 2011. Until the polaris pro in 2012, the M series was the best mountain chassis out, and a good rider, with a track upgrade, to a 2.6 or 3 inch power claw, can follow anywhere the new sleds got, you just work a little harder.
@@TruckHouseLife makes me feel kinda Old ass! no seriously though, I like "vintage" stuff too, its just crazy how quickly time has passed and how quickly things have changed . born in the mid 80's just to get some context. i remember when playing around on my friends dads " old" 3 wheeler.. from like the 80's, now that feels old!
Nothing like the love for old sleds
Timmy I am so jealous of the life you are living. I’m here in LA “living the dream” lol. Keep on keepin’ on my man!
Always!
more fun than the new stuff
If you count freezing your fingers while fidling with carb adjustments and always being stuck, yeah
It sounds awesome!
14:25 Great shot.
Someone took great care of that sled before you got it. Respect it. Its clean and mean.
No doubt!

carb need to be adjusted, worked fine after adjusting it
I loved your other video you had about this too. Keep up the great videos
bro you were supposed to teach us how to adjust the clutch!
whoops!
All you can adjust is different weights or spring in primary qnd spring and helix in secondary
Enjoyed again Timmy
Great video
Thanks!
You stole that sled, great buy
Glad to see you got a new sled ramp for the sled deck! Your old one mad me cringe when she was all bowed out😂
Yup a welcome change!
Please do not attempt any cabin jumping shenanigans. You know your mom will be watching. Poor dear.
I noticed that when it was being backed off the trailer it choked out. first sign that something was wrong. super fun wing it situation though!
adjusted the carb, works perfect now
Now try it with a 1970s John Deere 340 lol
haha
The worst part is it should be adjusted under load to get the proper mix or you'll be at it all day trying.
That summit souds like it need primary clutch rebuild
It's crazy, for a moment, I thought I smelled two stroke oil.
🤘
What happened to your last video of the sled from a couple days ago?
now ya know lol
Nice sound looked great
Hell, that is newer than my 2001 Arctic Cat Z440 ESR and my hubbys 1998 Arctic Cat Z500 R. !!!

Bring those tools with you.
You may be surprised. Be safe and be careful
2t life..
I'll be surprised if it makes it out of the parking lot 😂
Oh the joys of carb sleds 😂 never again.

i grew up on carbs;)

That sled is pristine. I notice that the older sled you ride you pull out the old clothes. New sled new clothes.... LOL
I can smell the 2 stroke smoke from Colorado. I love it!! 😂😂
lol
Run some readline fuel system cleaner, before breaking out the wrenches, it's usually gummed up carb, from bad fuel.
Still sounds and probably smells like a snowmobile!
I like the channel but that is not a "vintage" sled.
Vintage is generally considered as 20 years old... so ya vintage.
Flat light is so fun....
they make a mic that will hook to the go pro. Muskoka Freerider has one, makes it great to talk when riding.
Figured it out, you'll see a change in upcoming videos, waaaay better audio while riding
That slp pipe and can was about 800 new. I had that setup on my 04 700 rmk. Also yours and mine both have the slp intake
nice!
Old gasoline?
Dude, Kennesaw Gang is cheering for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How many miles on the RMK? I love those old wedges.
3k
😁👍 🇦🇹
Unbelievable for only 1k. You stole thay
Oh I paid more for sure, just the NADA list is as worth $1k haha
@@TruckHouseLifeoh ok
...cool...
My best friend has the same sled but in black, that was the first snowmobile I rode
nice!
I just bought the same sled but the SKS model. I wish mine was that clean!
Nice!
Where was the "show you how to adjust the belt" part???
skipped it whoops!
Your foucs on camera not good
yup it was on manual:( lol
the odds of finding a machine that good at that price is slim to none, so this video serves no-one but you.
downvoted.
its crazy how an '03 sled is "old ass"
lol
