Can i use this with a protein treatment?
I am going through graying transition and accually looking into careful toning my grays/ fine hair to purple-platinum. Any thoughts or advises? I'm brunette and demarcation line kills me...would be nice to find a product sulfate, peroxide and ammonia free....thank you.
Hi! A lot of these questions re: going gray. The answer? It’s a process, unfortunately, and requires a lot of patience. What i would recommend is to have several months of growth, then see a professional to either highlight some of the dark out (full foil initially to lighten whole head) and tone with a gloss as cool and pale to silver white as possible. the other option is to do a full foil with your brown color, so it diffuses your root line, and shows the appearance of “going gray.” Every 3 months continue to cut the bottom; to get rid of the solid ends.
It is a process but one that is worth it if you like your gray hair and want to be free of maintenance. It is work initially to get you through your grow out process...
Purple shampoo is a MUST to keep it from yellowing out. I hope you find this helpful! Xx

Thank you! Just for now I'll get handy milk shake silver shine purple shampoo. As my long research shows, so far, it is the best one and for affordable price in comparison with Aveda/ Malva purple shampoo.

Havnt tried this yet but considering to. Now i use fenola no yellow and like it a lot. Yes, it does sometimes make my hair slightly purple if i leave it for to long, but i actually dont mind at all 😊 but it does make my hair dry. Are Oribe products drying as well or less?
So Oribe is NOT drying! My hair feeling amazing after using their purple shampoo and conditioner! It’s the ONLY purple shampoo and conditioner that my hair feels SO good after using!!

Hi- I’m interested in the oribe shampoo. I have the kerstase blonde conditioner and considering getting kerstase blonde purple shampoo, will that shampoo turn me purple or darken my blonde? Or am I better off purchasing the oribe purple shampoo? (I’m now interested more in oribe ha...but can’t return my kerstase conditioner bc I’ve used it) I’m naturally a level like 4- with a lot of beige highlights like you.
Basically- would it be ok for me to use the oribe purple shampoo and follow up with the kerstase blonde lavender conditioner? Thanks!

But, yes, you can use oribe purple shampoo with Kérastase purple conditioner, that’s fine. The oribe purple is safe for everyday use, more brightening then toning. I absolutely love it and it makes my hair feel great. The purple conditioner from oribe is also amazing. My hair is frizzy curly and it makes it soft and smooth and weightless. I find a lot of purple products to be drying and that is not the case with Oribe.

@@AmandaMae I also wanted to ask for recommendations for a heat protectant. I used the revlon round brush dryer, it’s does get hot and don’t want to give it up. Any good heat protectant out there. I’ve been using Kenra blow dry spray, but looking for some other ones. Thanks!

Elena Pushkina yes! There are and can be fake products. Also expired products. So, make sure to buy from oribe.com, a salon, blue mercury etc ...
