That is the most fantastic action I have seen as proof that Jackie is a super mom! She is absolutely amazing! Wow! Shadow looked a bit dumbstruck! In such short time she solved it after his long struggle! Just love her!

What amazes me about all the different nests are the styles in which they build them. Some are perfectly round, branches almost laid like bricks. Others are very staggered with big pieces jutting out here and there. Some rails are really tall, and others, the nest is wider and rails not so high. So amazing 💞 🙏🦅 🌟
I love how Spirit watches his dad for a few mins than jumps right in to help! lol
But I can also she him secretly pointing at Shadow & whispering to his mom “He did it!” 😁
Spirit (have to get caught up - love the name!) at first attempted to help Dad - decided not to do so - "Dad has issues" -lol!

Goodness, I am very surprised at Shadow. He seemed completely confused as to how to move Jackie's tree stick. And poor Spirit was trying to tell Dad to just let Mama handle it. And Jackie did just that - picked it up, and moved it in one go. Shadow was over to the side looking embarrassed, and Spirit was just glad it was over. Jackie: "Shadow, you know I love you. But if you do this again, it's the roost tree for a month." Shadow: "Yes, dear."
Jackie is older than Shadow therefore has more experience with nestorations plus she's larger so probably stronger too. Not surprised she solved the problem quickly. 😀

Jackie brought that tree in this morning, had a very hard time getting it to where Shadow was messing with it. And I was afraid for Spirit when she brought it in, the way she struggled with it. So when she came back and moved it, I wondered why she couldn't put it right where she moved it in the first place. I was thinking that they needed some sort of barrier in that area anyway because I saw Spirit backing onto that very spot yesterday for a PS and worried that he was going to step off the nest. It was a nail biter, indeed, thanks Cali.
I was wondering who brought that tree in... I'll have to go back and see if there's footage of that

I chuckled and held my breath all at the same time. I was so nervous that Shadow was going to knock Spirit right out of the nest. Then I chuckled at how the little one joined in with the struggle with the stick which was more like limb!
I love shadow so much and shadow is really good about getting the nest ready and doing all the sticks and all of that but he struggled there for a little bit Jackie flew in and lifted that big branch or twig with one lift that’s one strong mama and she’s strained it out and said that’s how it’s done shadow looked at her like that’s my love my strong love that was so cute he struggled there for a little bit she flew in and took care of it cute cute video I had to rewatch it to see her do that one left that was great love you guys you three

Jackie is the most AMAZING Mom .. and Eagle!!! She brought that tree in .. and couldn’t get it moved .. it was stuck .. so good job on Shadow for finally getting it moved .. but GOODNESS!! His renovations stopped being useful at the move of that tree!! He forgot about the baby!! Spirit was chirping like crazy at Daddy saying - I’m going to fall .. I can’t move any further … Dad .. maybe if I help .. nope. .. not helping .. Dad - I can’t branch yet .. and just in time .. in flies the Eagle of all Eagles .. and in short order .. As we all know, Shadow and Jackie are so competitive when it comes to the stick placement. Shadow was in such a panic. "Oh, Lord, help me and don’t let Jackie see the mess I've made." 😂
He kept looking up hoping she wouldn't see. Ha! It sure wasn't Shadow calling out for help. When Spirit got scared and kept calling out, Mom came to the rescue. Poor Shadow...best Daddy ever sure tried. 💖

❓If Spirit (GOD forbid), fell out of the tree, not hurt, how would they be able to return him to the nest? Would he be picked up an put in say a bird sanctuary? I doubt he would get back in the nest!
@@karenrosgen4586 With those talons they have I’d think they could carry the little eaglet back to the nest. I’ve seen them carry much bigger things, so that’s what I think would happen but who knows. Let’s just pray it doesn’t happen :)

I tuned into LIVE video of this stick being there yesterday 4 7 22. Then the next day on 4. 8 22 TODAY the stick was gone. It was moved. I asked about it in the live chat. Thank you so much for posting this I wondered about it.
I wasn't able to watch for a whole week.

❓ Mods, Shadow, and Jackie remember each other, where there nest is, do you think they rember Simba, then the ravens and the losses they suffered. I know its a stupid qyestion, just wondering. Shadow sat on the poor egg forever, it broke my heart every time I saw him turning it an d setting on it to keep it warm, and how hong it took to finally leave.
If He keeps putting up more railing, we wont be able see Spirit?
There is no way to know whether they would recognize their eaglet after several molts. All visiting eagles are treated as intruders during the breeding season.
