Great reaction for an amazing adaptation and TV show in general
Btw idk if anyone explained it to yall in the last episode. About why everything seemed to be in the past but they were in the future. After the bomb of Hiroshima, the world basically went into a Cultural Time-Lock. And also if I remember correctly, microprocessors were never created so that's why everything also runs on vacuum tube and small nuclear reactors.
Wanna see where it all began? Check out 'A Boy and His Dog' from 1975 starring Don Johnson
this story is new even to the gamer. so much lore expansion.
In the game those turrets are notoriously inaccurate lol
No they're not. The turrets absolutely shred me, i gotta jiggle peak to destroy them
I’ve heard that the implication there is that the doctor has a high Luck stat, but I don’t know if that’s just made up.
100% correct, turrets have always been super inaccurate in all the fallout games, was great that did that in the show
@@OGPuppetMasterwhat? You can literally stand in front of them and they don’t hit you, even in survival there not a threat there a lootbag
@@SarcasticDragonGamingno, it’s a reference to them being incredibly inaccurate in fallout 4, there were supposed to be the main form of base defense, but couldn’t kill enemies due to their low damage and low accuracy, Bethesda ended up selling a DLC with non ballistic turrets that are way better. And Maximus getting his foot stuck is a reference to a launch bug that would happen with power armor(getting clipped into surfaces when walking onto two different textures)
The Ghoul used what's called a Stimpak on the Dog, it's the in game Healing item and can fix almost Anything
Yeah I have an issue with that tho as obv the game it would NEED to heal you cause it’s a game but in the show I feel like it shouldn’t be doing what it’s been doing😭
@@trevorsmith572I feel like it’s kinda needed since the show is canon to the games
@@trevorsmith572 Why? Fallout has always been an over the top sci-fi universe. What's wrong with a faithful adaptation in that regard?
@@trevorsmith572 Why would you make it more realistic but less like the games it's literally based on? That's like saying "superman shouldn't be able to fly because he doesn't have airplane wings on his back"
@@trevorsmith572 Nah, I'd rather it be campy as fuck and full of video game logic, rather than making it super realistic and sucking the life and personality out of it.
I love how during the fight in Filly, Lucy only ever saw the moments where Maximus looked cool and in-control. Every time he was getting his ass kicked or screwing up, she was somewhere else or looking the other way. Even when he was uncontrollably flying off toward the latrines, at the exact moment Lucy looked up to see him, his flight temporarily evened out and looked intentional. So from her perspective, he was the dashing knight that swooped in, saved the day, and flew off into the sunset. 😂
Hah I didn't notice that.
I found this so funny 😂
"That [turret's] a terrible shot"
- every Fallout 4 player ever
This show is really a snapshot of what the game experience is like, the majority of the people you interact with are usually weird and off putting and this show really nails that
People joke about the turret missing all the shots but it is on par with the games.
yeah I immeadiatly had a huge smile on my face :D
I dunno I've been sniped by turrets from miles away many times in the games
Thankfully! Those things can _still_ chew you up if you're not careful!
@@OptifiedPixels Of course when you're facing them, they channel the spirits of Annie Oakley, Chis Kyle and freaking Simo Hayha. But when _you_ place those turrets in FO4 Settlements, it can't hit jack freaking shit.
Except in Fallout 2 on the oil rig. Yeah... Good luck. 😅
"Just think of all the easter eggs we're missing" Being said right after "Dogmeat!" is so funny to me.
"think about all the easter eggs we're missing" literally right after dude yells "dog meat!" lolol
"think about all the easter eggs we're missing"
there is SO much detail in the environments and background items. the show is incredibly faithful to the games. the shop alone has SO many little items and details. its insane how much you can tell that the creators love the source material.
A small part I had to laugh at... when Lucy is talking to the man with her gun out... pretty accurate to my playthroughs since I would rarely put my gun away!
I can't believe they passed up on that serum that could make you grow an entire new foot.
That's a deal they're gonna regret.
So one of the troupe in the show and the game, is that any injury, even if near death, can be cure with "stimpack" the meds in the syringe. That is why the knight Titus is screaming at Maximus to give it to him. The only damage that cannot be cure with stimpack is radiation poisioning.
Which is cured with RadAway...
I think you need to learn what "troupe" means.
Why did the doctor not given stimpaks? Not expecting him to grow a foot, but at least make him feel better and stabilize him.
I need you gentlemen to release these episodes faster please 😂
I second❤
I love these dudes but they are probably the slowest reactors.
"it's like a pencil sharpener" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
This episode makes me want chicken 🐓, regarding the turret it’s a Mark 1 which is a joke for it’s bad accruacy, the sign is to make you not move because it can’t hit a moving target. 😂
Makes you want chicken? Or makes you "want" chicken?
@@o.b.7217 NAHHH BRUV 😂
in the fallout game for balancing purposes, the power amour has a fusion core that would "Run out" and you had to keep spares on you if you wanted to run around fully armoured up. but in "Theory" they should never ever run out of power. they're a mini power generator/power source.
To give some additional perspective to the guys; the power source for the vaults is a fusion core. Those things have been running 200+ years!
Yes in original games the power cores could run power armor indefinitely.
@@seanoverholt1736Exactly. Only in Fallout 4 did the power cores become a consumable... but then, only in FO4 were the suits more of a vehicle that you drive around rather than armour that you wore from inventory
Are they mini fusion cores like what the vaults use? And is it fusion cores in the cars that make them blow up like mini atom bombs?
The homesteader who drank her water took a page out of my playbook on how to pick up women. "You won't have to put up with me for long!"
THIS CUUD ALL BE YURS!
The guy you recognise from saw and lost, Michael Emerson- this show was produced (and first episode directed) by Jonathan Nolan, who also did a series called person of interest in which Michael Emerson also starred.
where Michael Emerson also had a bad leg and a dog.
Thank you of reminding me of the name of this show so I can rewatch it.
@@kevindean0000 A dog of the same breed too.
About whether the show is accurate to the game: yes, it is a surprisingly good adaptation from game to TV. Like the producers said, it exists in the same universe of the games, but is not an adaptation of any of the stories that have already been told in the games. It's an entirely new story, imo that nails the tone of the games
The best part is, as someone who’s played enough Bethesda rpgs, the way the even do dialogue feels like the game, you can see the game mechanics in the writing, set design, and performance, which I think is the most impressive thing about the show. Not only does it totally nail the adaption, it FEELS like a video game let’s play. You can see the side quests popping up, random encounters, they even found a way to put the unkillable chickens in the show. Mindblowing tv
@@cl4-tpgaming I appreciate that they put enough nods to the games for die-hard fans to catch, but still managed to make it completely enjoyable for people who know literally nothing about Fallout.
The problem most video game adaptations have is that the story they try to tell doesn't really work in a different medium. The Last of Us doesn't suffer from that; it is a fun and good game, but its focus is the narrative. In Fallout, the focus is the gameplay, it's an RPG after all, and yet they managed to translate it perfectly to the screen. Very impressive.
Some easter egg info from this episode is the device on the wrist is called a "Pipboy" & that miniature statue on the shelf that Ella sees before confronting the ghoul (guy with no nose) are called Bobbleheads that improve your attributes & German Shepherd is the dog featured in the game 🙂
Liked Quinn's pun! & that bear fight there kinda reminded me of Oak's fight with a bear in red dead! Hehe & Quinn only seen 1st Saw film? Wonder if he seen the rest? I too was like "don't do a John Wick on us with the dog" **phew!** this show has got me completely hooked, made even better with your reactions! 😊
The turret missing the doctor is so accurate in the games. I got multiple flashbacks from even thinking about it.
The Ghoul has both the Bloody Mess and Better Criticals Perks and was obviously using VATS
He was using explosive rounds, which also exist in the game. VATS requires a Pip-Boy; he's just freakishly accurate.
And the Penetrator perk ;)
@@drewnapier7053 Obviously he wasn't using VATS, but the slow motion shots were very clearly meant to invoke the VATS slow-mo.
@@drewnapier7053 240 or so years of combat and *surviving* would make him such a supreme badass ;)
@@drewnapier7053 , some speculated it was gyro-jet ammo as well since it had small fins on the rounds
Vendor: DOOOGGGMEAT!
Diamond Dave: Just think of all the Easter eggs we're missing right now😂
If you don't know dogmeat is the dog companion across several games, there's theories he's the same dog but he usually looks different in each game, I'm sure it has something to do with the dog cloning we saw in the show
Up until then I always went with Dogmeat in Fallout 4 was a special type of synth creature. created sometime after Shaun took over and before the Sole Survivor woke up. Possibly planted there to assist them after exiting the vault. Since he has unnatural tracking abilities, VERY independent and intelligent thinking (he lives as his own person and goes where he wants). If you manage to not interact with Dogmeat prior to investigating Kellog's house in Diamond City; Nick Valentine will call for him which is why I suspect a Synth or Institute link.
@@RedShirtGuy96 but stim packs work on Dogmeat. I don't remember having to use a stimpack on a Synth.
@@TheCrayonMaster You absolutely CAN stim a synth, I can think of one specific synth in particular whose name I will not say because there might be readers/viewers here who have not played FO4, and I don't want to spoil them on that specific questline.
The first game also takes place in the remnants of California, one of the first places the main character visits is called Junk Town, made from a junk yard. The main place here is called Filly which is apparently a landfill. So that's a neat little Easter egg.
Also the general idea around Caps as currency is that no one generally has the ability to manufacture new caps. They have complicated graphics which are nearly impossible to reproduce by hand, are made of metal so sturdy enough to last in the Wasteland and are light enough to carry around. Where our money is backed by gold Caps are supposed to be backed by Water, factions which have access set the standard.
I'd love to see you guys play the games. I've been a long time Fallout fan so I'll put my two cents in on where to start when you get closer to the end.
The Ghoul is a gawddamn boss !! I love love love the character and I can't think of anyone else who could have played the part so fking good. Walton Goggins is ahh-mazing!!!
Mason Quinn you're not the only one who thought his name was Walter and I've watched alot of shows with him in it!😂😂
I’m loving it so far… so good to see Benjamin Linus in this too 🔥
In the game, you can have a skill that if you kill something with a critical attack, all of its limbs go flying, so the series is pretty tame XD
The "Enclave" for whom Wilzig worked (noted in episode #1) are the descants of the "Military Industrial Complex" etc from before the war, the leaders are really evil and committed all kinds of terrible crimes, mad experiments and fought many of the factions/people in the games
Hence the puppy incinerator fits with those Enclave SOBs kind of experiments, and why Wilzig spared CX404 as he's got a conscience ;)
The bear is a "Yao Guai", really damned nasty
I think Maximus is high Constitution good Strength with low Int, and crucially, high Luck ;)
btw actor who plays lucy is the one who plays voice of jinx in arcane
I thought she sounded familiar! That's awesome!
Finally, one of my favorite shows you guys are reacting to. The thing is, I only started playing the game after watching this lmao.
22:44 "Its like a pencil sharpener"! Hahahaha, best description of that scene from any reaction channel!
A terrific episode, my favorite part was obviously The Battle of Filly. Super gore-tastic and really displayed the fighting capabilities of each of our protagonists. Lucy thinks she can talk her way out of a fight, and that probably always worked in the Vault. But not on the surface baby. Maximus in his awesome T-60 power armor is very tough, but he has never had training. And the ghoul just kicks everyones ass in the entire town. He has a couple centuries of experience under his belt.
Two interesting notes: In the game you can heal yourself with stimpaks *or* by eating food/drinking water. You notice the ghoul take some pretty decent hits and he stops to get out of the line of fire for a moment to eat some cherry tomatoes. A very cool nod to the game mechanics.
Secondly, is the town of Filly named that because it is built on a landfill? Lots of good scrap metal and junk right under your feet? lol, I don't know, that is just my guess.
FunFact guys about the barbershop dentist. Its the origin of the spinning red white and blue pole outside barbers. White meant you cut hair, Blue meant dentistry, and red was medical services. So people who couldnt read would know what services were offered. Now it pretty much just means barbershop
The most accurate thing in this show is how strong they showed bears are
Nostalgia hits real hard when you watch the series. I love the world of Fallout so much. Ever since the first game came out.
You can really feel Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy's Westworld influence in Fallout.
Especially The Ghoul = Man in Black (Ed Harris)
The look of the character, the immortality, even the lines and the way he speaks and walks.. It's almost identical.
The Ghoul actually shot Maximus' gun out of his hand. VATS baby.
V.A.T.S. stands for Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System. It is software on the pip-boy. You have to have a pip boy to have access to V.A.T.S.. Before you say it yes there is a glaring mistake in Fallout 4 that if you hit the vats button before the game tells you about it and you get a pip-boy, you can use VATS. But other than that small mistake you have to have a pipboy to use vats.
@@xtremejay2000 I just assume with 200 plus years alive and prior military training he is just that good.
@@jordanaiken7138 oh absolutely he is. I just mean the slow mo is a style choice only. He is totally that good.
Hell yeah. Walton Goggins is the best ever. Yall should check out Righteous Gemstones if yall haven't it has John Goodman and Walton Goggins and Danny Mc Bride amongst so many others. Its a 10/10 as well. Anyway, I love this series. I could watch it 10x back to back, its exactly like the show. its so good.
Uncle Baby Billy!
@@applejax1017 THE BEST! I love me some Baby Billy!
The reason why the turrets said Please Remain Calm" was because they can't actually hit anything. 😊
Fallout 4 has been my game for years. When I say this show captures the spirit of the game in a way Ive not ever seen a show do before, Im not joking
There's an old adage that follows "Show don't tell"
And I think this show hits that motto on the head and takes it.
The set design and CGI, actors outfits and bag round plactors all just fit into the world. And the viewers just get to watch.
Non fans can wonder how a world run on bottle caps works. Fans can scan and look for easter eggs.
The song at the end made me scream, made my whole month tbh, i just know that song because of the game.
I wasn't sure if I was supposed to be finding scenes funny in the show until Rappaport string of F-bombs while getting tossed around by that bear. Maximus was really interesting to me because he comes off as unassuming and a bit of a victim before this and here you catch that he's got ambitions 'Oh wow, he's letting this guy die so he can be the knight...I wonder if he was the one that put the razor in his friend's boot'. Really cool.
"I will mark in your map" reference. Love it
This show is unapologetically ‘Fallout’ meaning there are lots of references that go unnoticed or unexplained if you haven’t played the games but it doesn’t impede the story. You guys perfectly understood that bottle caps were the main money. In the game you’ll find banded $10,000 stack “pre-war money” and when it’s in your inventory the value will be practically nothing.
This is literally my favorite show I’ve probably ever seen.
The giant packs that the Squire's carry for the Knights could be a little joke. Because when playing the game carrying a bunch of heavy items in your pack slows you down so much. 😂 It was always a pain in the rear! It was one reason I always played the game as a tank of a character maxing strength attributes
After my first play through I just use console commands to set the weight limit to 1000 lol
Fun fact Walton Goggins the actor that plays The Ghoul is the voice actor of Cecil from Invincible
YESSSS Fallout has always been my favorite game and I must tell you: the show is AMAZING!!! I'm so glad you guys are watching it
It's a favourite game of mine too. Fallout 2 is god tier stuff. It's an absolute classics with an excellent ost.
If they ever remake Robocop the right way Walton would make an amazing Clarence Boddiger. That "you gotta be shittin me" was pure Kurtwood Smith
The gore is actually scaled back a little bit in the show. The game leans hard into OTT blood and gore. There is even a perk called "Bloody Mess" that adds bonus damage and literally turns the target into a pile of giblets.
I had recognized Dale Dickey from being in The Hateful eight. It was soo cool seeing her and Walton Goggins on the screen together again.
5:50 You’re right, he doesn’t give a “cap” 😂
the desert area they shot are real and not cgi btw, in an interview with Jimmy Fallon, Ella Purnell, the actress who plays Lucy said they flew there for like hours just to shot the desert scene...the place they shot it from btw is Bolivia
Edit: NAMIBIA is the shooting location as corrected by other commenters...sorry for that
NAMIBIA. Not Bolivia. Different continent altogether.
Skeleton Coast Namibia* not bolivia
@@ScorpioVI thanks for the correction, i was watching the jimmy fallon, i just heard bolivia during that time, Ella was explaining things then suddenly jimmy interrupts her...like he always do to most guests..
@@ToxicDluxe yup thx thx...sry for that...
It is all very true to the game. The story is a new chapter that references many aspects of the games' world.
Many video games have amazing stories that rival and surpass many movies and TV shows, but it is not till recently we have been able to convert them into a TV series or Movie. There have been hits and misses over time but recently more hits.
A few to mention are:
- Arcane
- Last of US
- Mario Movie (2023)
- Dungeons and Dragons (2023)
We are living in a good time with good film crews.
The slow-motion gun fighting and removing of limbs is what's referred to as the V.A.T. system in the games, which allows you to pause time to select parts of the body to target for your enemies, which trigger short cinematic when they're kill shots. The other nod is in the game, when you use a Stimpack on your dog, he sits up and then stands up just like that. It looked goofy because in the game it's kinda goofy unrealistic animation. Another sign great care was shown with the source material and the type of shit that fans of the game appreciate.
As for whether it's dialed up, I'd say not at all. If anything, it feels like just another game in the series with next-next-gen graphics. Its not just set design, it's how shots are set up, the steps you take in the games are recreated well, the discussions you have are spot on, the random "quests" aspect going on...even that slight sense of mary-sue that suits this type of genre well, she SHOULD be a bad ass because your character is just kinda a badass by default. The main part about Fallout is that the world is baren and mutated, you enter places to loot and interact with terminals and recordings to hear/read the backstory of the world. Since it's been hundreds of years, there are centuries of lore scattered around the maps, pre and post war. The show does a great job of giving that feeling of leaving the vault with a sense of naivity to then learn about what happened over time, to realize how fucked things are. Because of this, the entire lore (outside of your current day quests) is received bit by bit and stitched together. It means the show is perfect to expand and add even more to that lore.
The one-off characters and odd ball humor in the post apocalyptic setting is done perfectly, the retro music juxtaposed with the brutal voilence and body horor is very Fallout.
The vault lady with the Afro is the blind lady that lives with Deadpool
Wish these fallout reavtions came faster 😂
Here's the thing. Much like what I commented on the first episode, almost everything visually is an easter egg. Story-wise there isn't really anything game-related as the story is original to the show, but everything shown on screen is pretty much out of the game.
The cram. The bear (called a Yao guai). The use of caps. The fact that people eat any meat they can get their hands on. The almost magical stimpacks which can heal pretty much anything. Everything is out of the games. Even the bullet time slowmo sequences are reminiscent of the V.A.T.S. system from the games (Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System) where everything slows down and it gives you probabilities to hit your target and hopefully do critical damage. Even the gore is straight out of the game. The saw used to cut Wilzig's head is also a game item. The guns in the store (all of them) are from the game. The bobbleheads, the PIP boys, the Nuka Cola bottles, the very clothing people are wearing.
Seriously, pretty much assume if it's on screen it's a game easter egg at this point, because pretty much everything is. Even the turret that attacks Wilzig and CX-404 is exactly like the games, as is its aim.
Oh, also those aren't cockroaches. Cockroaches are small. Those are known as radroaches. Nasty things. You can eat them too, though you gotta be careful about radiation.
Oh my!!!!! I can't believe it Harold Finch and Bono are canon in fallout, they survived the nukes.
The donut shop at the end was probably supposed to be a Slocum's Joe, an in-game chain of coffee-and-donut places.
Or since its LA, a Randy's.
Definitely a breath of fresh air as someone who has played Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, and Fallout 4. Not going to lie I had very little expectation for this show. One reason was Amazon was doing and after seeing how bad they did Rings of Power I had little faith. Plus anytime someone tries to do a movie or show based on a video game it usually doesn’t end well.
I finished the show yesterday and it was really good and does the world of Fallout justice. Great to see non-fans enjoy it.
i cant explain how much brighter my day gets when i see that Badd Medicine posted! :) you guys are the GOAT's
This whole show is so good! They did a great job with making feel like the game, the best video game to tv adaptation ever made! Please please, just do a full binge of this show, we can't wait for an episode every week, we need them everyday!!!! Love you guys, LETS GOOO!!
"Lucy" if Ned Flanders was in an apocalypse 😂😂
In an Interview she said that's exactly how she approached the CHaracter
Wilzig saying Vault-Tec plan D was the most humane thing they made just keep that information in your minds. It gets good!
the pup is credited in the IMDB page as Lana 5.
One thing I haven't seen anyone mention about the ghoul. When he gets shot and it doesn't seem to phase him it's because being a ghoul is a mutation caused by high exposure to radiation and it gives them a regeneration factor. The regeneration factor is influenced by how irradiated the ghoul is and Walton Goggins' character is highly irradiated so he can pretty much heal like Wolverine or Deadpool.
Don't know if yall know this, but Ella Purnell (Lucy) was also another main character in another videogame adaptation: She was Jinx in Arcane.
Yeah the thing about ghouls, and what they meant by feral earlier is a reference to the fact that 1) Ghouls can be feral monsters, or 2) they are kinda just super soldiers. No really. They are actually just super soldiers if they can stay sane. Live for several centuries, too.
16:29 was to funny haha "Ahh! Skank!" 😂
Edit- they cut it out and re-uploaded 🙃🥲
14:37 actually, those wrist thruster things aren't in the games. There is a Jetpack that can be attached to Power Armor and it makes travel so much easier. The Jetpack is like half the size of the armor itself, so it's pretty huge.
Fun little tidbit the town they’re in is called filly because the town is inside an old land fill
The Fallout series is known for "retrofurturism" (a picture of what people imagined thw future would look like...but in *our* past). All of the tech and set design recalls that theme from the games. Also, each character feels like a different player's play style in a Fallout game and the whole series gives me Fallout nostalgia. They marketed the nostalgia super well (even if they retconned some of the game's stories). I've enjoyed it a lot.
The tech to make the highly durable cola caps is lost, so finite supply -- highly suitable as a medium for currency.
The NCR also has a currency. But it isn't accepted everywhere. There was a side quest in New Vegas where someone got a hold of a bottle cap press and was making caps crashing the value of caps. You had to go and destroy it. But yes someone made a really cool video on how CAPS really do work as a currency as it is similar to way coins were in high use throughout most of history.
Yes Bottle caps are the currency. Oak the reason dude is alive is because he is what is called a ghoul, mutated from radiation but effectively immortal until killed, though eventually will probably lose his mind and go feral.
"I've been looking forward to this" -Count Dooku
Michael Emerson is probably here because he was in a previous Nolan series called Person of Interest (which is awesome btw)
Didn’t expect to like the show as much as I do. Probably one of the best video game adaptations.
Same, i was expecting it to be woke as fuck from the trailer, but other than the forced diversity they seem to have kept a lid on it.
They have also cast good actors in those diverse rolls instead of just nobodies which is normally the case making it enjoyable to watch instead of cringe.
@@Enigmatic.. "Forced diversity" How does it feel to be deathly afraid of the world outside?
@@agp11001 exactly 😂 he probably saw Maximus and Lucy and was like wtf is this . Pure sheep

The wrist computers were pretty common outside the vaults but it was like the first cellphones only business men and rich people had them and once Vaults tech bought Robco which makes them, the one we see from the Vaults is like the iPhone of Pipboys
My favorite game reference is how each of the MCs represent a different play through style (I.e., good, bad, and neutral) but even the bad style *saves the dog*
I watched my hubby play the Fallout games I don't remember much of the storyline things I remember. His character waking up in a Crotank his wife and kid died, finding journal notes on computers finding way out of the Vault. Pipboy wrist monitor(very important part basically your menu) , Nuke Cola, RadX, Bobbleheads & Magazines(how ya raise skills), Bottle Caps, Stimpacks, Armor Suits, 50ish sounding music, the look of what people in the 50s would think the future would look like, Mutated People and Creatures RadRoaches least of your problems lol, making Weapons out of scraps. Round Foating Robots blasting advertising and music but not sure if they shoot or detect ya (in New Vagas you get one as a helper) and Toilet Tank Water lol
If you guys want a really good explanation of the Fallout lore, the Shoddycast youtube channel have a series on it and its really good. A small amount of the information has been retconed over years but about 95% of it is still accurate.
all of the above are indeed in the games. they pretty much nailed it in the show.
In Fallout 4 the power armor can be equipped with a large jet pack that is worn on the back. As mentioned in the reaction video, two small propulsion jets in the arms wouldn't be enough to lift the power armor (which includes the driver, power armor frame, armor plates and weapons).

I loved this series & have never seen it played, I’m not a gamer. Actually want my husband to get the games now so I can check out what’s similar. So happy you are reacting to it 🖤
Walton Goggins is without doubt the best working actor. I would LOVE for you guys to react to VICE PRINCIPALS, it’s genuinely the best comedy series to come out over the last 24 years.
It’s just such a shame that it’ll never win a poll because there aren’t enough people that saw it
10:48 So, this is a Little Nod to most RPGs where Characters seemingly live just a Stone throw away from a Major settlement and yet claim to have "never been there"
I haven’t watched all the way through the season yet. But I assumed the thing the doctor implanted in his neck interfered with the turret’s targeting system hence why it missed. It probably was only able to shoot around them and not directly at them.
Doc got promoted to Head of his department..
😂
Always a pleasure seeing your reactions 😂
The set design was great, and I'm sure it was easier because they already had so much of this stuff to pull from the games. Making it real must have been fun.
Iguana-on-a-stick and the brahman (the 2-headed cow) were so good to see! And very happy that the dog lives!
God the music in the show is AMAZING. I missed a couple stuff cause I was too busy singing along🤣
Too many Easter Eggs to list out to someone who hasn't played the games. They also have no limits on the rights for visuals and locations from the Games and Franchise as a whole so it all looks beautiful. From the "Wasteland" to the Ghoul and Brotherhood of Steel armour, they have done a spectacular job.
NukaCola Caps are the currency.
StimPaks heal all wounds.
Basic rule of Fallout is if they don't shoot you on site, they will only shoot you if you piss them off somehow or when they want to betray you.
You really need to watch some "IceBerg" theory videos about the Fallout universe along with the 5 Core Game Intro Videos Especially Fallout 1, 2 and New Vegas, as they are based in this region and set before the show so will give you the required background for the area and factions. All the games and the show are stand alone within the same universe and tell a "Grand Story" between them. So watching the game lore videos won't spoil anything from the show and if anything will let you appreciate far more of the subtext and underlying story arcs.
Great reaction, can't wait to see your minds blown with the later ones!
2:15 my wife when i go all the way in
This may be the best video game to tv/film adaptation to date.. as far as story, easter eggs, character development.. its one of my favorite shows right now. Ive already watched it through twice ❤
