Interviewing Guy is like trying to herd cats, you boys managed to keep him vaguely on subject, well sort of. Guy is an enigma and I think you got probably the best interview of him I've seen.. Top Work as always..
Absolutely mint fellas. Love Guy's energy and all the mad projects he's done. Most of all he does what he likes and makes it happen. In other words he follows his dreams. Respect to the man. I'm a truck driver and a biker, he's a cult hero for sure. Love the show thanks a lot for the great content
Guy Martin is epic. Absolutely love his buzz, loved his road racing, love all his North One tv work (and was TT Close to the Edge that really discovered what a gem he is), have loved all of his books, which I highly recommend and he's always worth checking out wherever he pops up- whether gas interview's at the North West on BBC or gold like this long form interview which gives a really good sense of him... he's a British National Treasure, deserves a Knighthood for services to living the life n having the craic or something... from an Irishman.
He used to be friends with one of my dads friends, i met him a few times and being around him i was laughing constantly every time, its tiring laughing that much, such a funny guy to be around.
Brilliant interview, this is the best interview I've seen Guy do and I think the reason is that Guy was talking to two lads that were talking about things the three of you understood and about people you all knew personally as opposed to an interview with a "motorsport journalist" that has a list of pre planned questions they need answering. This really was a "lads over a pint chat" that was really enjoyable to watch. Thank you to the three of you!!
My favourite video to date, trying to keep Guy on topic was always going to be a challenge. Love his work ethic and his passion for stuff. Bike racing, and , nuclear fusion that’s going to be a tough stag do.
Absolutely amazing to listen to this has to be one of the best…brilliant how much he opened up and how calm he seemed to be once he got into his stride…absolutely spot on guys keep it you you are helping me get through the home working thingy loads 👏🏻
wow, my head is spinning , what a show.....great work lads. what can you say about Guy......Im left with a mixture of awe intrigue, and a nagging feeling that I just haven't done enough in my life.
Class podcast lads! Would love to see a show with Guy Martin and Alan Millyard, either building something, travelling as long as it's engineering related. Two of them are proper quirky, would make good TV.
What a down to earth guy, such a great show well done for getting him on, You guy's have made a reason to get up early on Mondays :) I dont think there has been a bad show
What a poddy this is lads. Took me 2 listens to actually catch all of what he says. Not that he's not listenable or hard to understand, it's just there's so much of it. 100% earned yourselves a new subscriber and a follower here.
Guy Martin just luv the man .what a crackin interview it's gotta be my top one so far really varied and interesting I can totally see his point on the five people to have on a stag do . : D cheers
Brilliant. What an interesting character and i have changed my opinion of Guy based on this. Fantastic chat and you both did a great job to get the best answers and conversation from him i have seen. Please get him back at a later date once he has done bike biking to Kazakhstan and got the back flip nailed with Dom.
I bumped into Guy at the 2012 TT i was totally starstruck and when I asked for a pic he said no 🤣 was well gutted but still a huge fan of anything he does he's some boy
I’ve been watching this interview all day and been re watching it baffled over and over. This is literally the best interview I’ve ever seen guy Martin have. Let lose and no filters it’s the way he needs to be interviewed. He’s wired different that lad but Christ he’s interesting. He’d be on my stag do list without question.
Brilliant interview. Guy is a top bloke and I love his honesty and attitude. I used to watch his programs with my son who'll be 17 in January. My son loved them and whenever he was going through a sticky time at school, playing rugby etc. I'd say "would Guy give up?". It worked! As Guy loves engines a couple of ideas for him - get involved with the Typhoon restoration project and help do up the Napier Sabre engine (am sure they'd appreciate the publicity as funds are tight!). The other one would be to do up an MTB or loco with Napier Deltic engines - mint!
The Monaghan meeting Guy referred to was on the Glaslough circuit during August 2000 and sadly Gary Dynes and Andrew McLean lost their lives after McLean crashed in front of the 250 cc pack at Smithy Corner whilst Denis McCullough was badly injured and Darran Lindsay and Stephen Thompson less so. I think the last race there was around 2006
I’ve had this saved in my watch later for a while and just got round to watching/listening to it. GLEAMING. I’ve said on a few of your podcasts, best so far. THIS IS NOW BEST SO FAR. All the stuff you spoke about has had me extremely interested and now I’m branching off to understand some of the stuff you guys been talking about. Chrissy, you never watched Back to the Future 😂 brilliant lol, I hope you got it in your to do list 😉. Me and my partner visit Kirmington (Marrowbone & Cleaver) often. We nearly bought the chapel over the road from it when it was up for sale a few years ago. Lovely village but not really practical for us both really. Shame. Anyway, if you read this then it’s just another thank you for an excellent interview. Next up for me I think is going to be the Toseland interview. Keep up the good work ✌🏻
I managed to use 2 cashback services to buy a Halfords 200pc socket set during one of their big 15% off everything sales they used to do, while it was already on a special offer, and it ended up costing me £104. By far the best (roughly) £100 I ever spent.
How about Guy on a talk show with Boris Johnson? Love listening to him no matter what he's talking about, his enthusiasm for everything he does is an example to us all. Really, really want to meet him. Please God!
And God said I wonder what would happen if I wired his brain like this! And then said, NO we only need one wired like that. What an awesome interview and the way he was wound up you could have had an all day interview. Great job again!
😂 look at 1.27.10 😂Chrissy’s talking to Guy about electric engines and possible electric planes going high enough where the air is thin, as he’s explaining thin air theory Dom looks at the ceiling like he’s searching for thin air 🤣 👍🏻
Decent pod ladies, Chrissy look up rob frost, I mentioned him to bob collins a couple of months back and he reckons he’s into his BASE jumping now. Remember him destroying the field at snetterton 600 bsb race on a thundercat and the r6 was out. Think it was he same meeting Ian Simpson snapped his leg at the bomb hole 🤷🏻♂️ keep them coming
My god he can talk. Really enjoyed. Would have loved to hear more about the TT and his friendship with Richard Britton and finnegan. Nevertheless great listen
He must hold the record for the number of F*%KS in an episode 😂😂Had the pleasure of meeting and chatting to guy at the TT in 2017 and he was sound as a pound and he signed my Helmet (ooh err) 😂
I'm at the pinnacle now of fucking about in my shed 😂 what a boy... Great questions lads . 10/10.. I finished it and put it back to the beginning again ..
Interviewing Guy is like trying to herd cats, you boys managed to keep him vaguely on subject, well sort of. Guy is an enigma and I think you got probably the best interview of him I've seen.. Top Work as always..
Guy about any subject is like a 4 year old on a sugar high. It's brilliantly entertaining 😁
Gotta love Chrissy's calmness, with those 2, it was much needed lol. Best episode ever 😍
Two hours, twenty two min's and fourteen seconds of pure gold!
Absolutely mint fellas. Love Guy's energy and all the mad projects he's done. Most of all he does what he likes and makes it happen. In other words he follows his dreams. Respect to the man. I'm a truck driver and a biker, he's a cult hero for sure.

Loved this. He's such an interesting fella. Very philosophical.
I have terrible ADHD
This interview held my undivided attention the entire time.🤣
Great job boys!
Never seen Guy so relaxed in an interview, brilliant job and a breath of fresh air. Absolutely fascinating banter.
My favourite video to date, trying to keep Guy on topic was always going to be a challenge. Love his work ethic and his passion for stuff. Bike racing, and , nuclear fusion that’s going to be a tough stag do.
I could listen to him all bloody day!...excellent....you need Chris Walker now!
Omg yes
That's the best interview with Guy that I've seen. Hat's off to both of you.
You should have an annual interview with Guy!

Guy Martin is a legend, love all his shows/UA-cam stuff and they never get boring! Great episode lads 👍
What a poddy this is lads. Took me 2 listens to actually catch all of what he says. Not that he's not listenable or hard to understand, it's just there's so much of it.

Absolutely loved this. You guys have outdone yourselves once again !
I knew this would be ace, and it was. Guy, when he's just being guy, is wonderful. You pair definitely brought out some great stories from him.
Guy Martin just luv the man .what a crackin interview it's gotta be my top one so far really varied and interesting I can totally see his point on the five people to have on a stag do . : D cheers

guy is the definition of a real nice bloke.
Brilliant. What an interesting character and i have changed my opinion of Guy based on this. Fantastic chat and you both did a great job to get the best answers and conversation from him i have seen. I'm 5 minutes in and I can tell the next 2 hours 17 are going to be epic! Hehehehe! Sweet.
How have I only just found this, absolute gold
I’ve been watching this interview all day and been re watching it baffled over and over. This is literally the best interview I’ve ever seen guy Martin have. Let lose and no filters it’s the way he needs to be interviewed. He’s wired different that lad but Christ he’s interesting. He’d be on my stag do list without question.
Ain't it great to sit back and smile at every jumbled up sentence, so much enthusiasm for the sport we all buzz off ,,made my holiday off work
One of the best episodes yet, great job fellas
He’s more Lincolnshire than Lincolnshire…. Bloody brilliant 👍🏽
Brilliant interview. Guy is a top bloke and I love his honesty and attitude. I used to watch his programs with my son who'll be 17 in January. My son loved them and whenever he was going through a sticky time at school, playing rugby etc. I'd say "would Guy give up?". It worked!
