  • This is not a how to lmfao, took me way longer than it should have due to a lot of mistakes that were my own fault. Bleeding my brakes after was a nightmare (Skill issue) and then the bike proceeded to only fire on one cylinder after. After tearing the bike down again multiple times it fixed itself so no idea. But hope you guys enjoy the video.
Bike is a 1999 Yamaha Roadstar Silverado 1600
    Bars I installed:

    New Grips:

Clutch, throttle, and brake extended cables I got from here.
      pacificcoaststar.com/
And the wiring harness had enough slack for me to just use the stock wires

I have the Same bike, Same color too! Great Build!
How did you Mount the bags to the original bagholder?

Made custom Z-Brackets with strips of metal I had laying around bent in a vice. And that’s how the top holes on the bags I got to mount to the stock holes on the frame. The bottom of the bags sit on the stock bag frames, and I drilled holes where they lined up. I’ll try and make a UA-cam Short just showing it, not pretty my any means lol but the bags hide it

@@-Kram- Thank you so much! Harley Bags dont fit, because my exhaust is Too high. Its impossible to find a 2-1 exhaust for this bike here in Germany.

@@thisismytoy5632 I used the stock electrical cables. Clutch line, brake line, and throttle cables I bought new longer ones that are stainless steel.

What lower fairings do you have?

    • @-Kram-
      @-Kram-  7 місяців тому

They are Harley Lower Fairing, they were on the bike when I got it, I wish I could give you more info. They were just storage compartments, I cut the round holes and added the speakers.

@@-Kram- I wonder if they will fit Yamaha crash bars or if yours are aftermarket. I’d like to get lowers like that with speakers eventually. I need to fix my fairing first though

@@ACEMIDNIGHT102 when It warms a little and I take the bike out of the shed I’ll see if I can find any markings on the crash bars to tell if they’re stock or not for you
