FACTS. I was in high school in predominantly yt neighborhood & schools & errybody loved this band. Stop playin. I listened to black & yt people. We all loved this $hit! If I'd gone to a concert from the late 80's...I would have lost my d@mn mind.

Much love to the red headed country boy who put me back on G&R in Iraq. I had loved this band as a very young kid, but a strange thing happened in the early/mid 90s. Basically all the bands that were huge before Nirvana and NWA were considered, commercial crap. Everyone kind of looked down on them because the weren't 'real and raw', which is what the 90s were all about. So it's the mid 2000s. I'm a Marine in Iraq attached to a unit that wasn't mine, just to fill out the numbers. This red headed Marine puts on G&R Live 3 Disc Album. I'm all like 'Bro G&R that's p***y music'. He's like 'I know, I know, but this is a great band just listen.' I gave it another shot and oh boy was he right. They are fantastic.
So good to see the new generation listening to the music I grew up with.

Appetite for Destruction is the first tape I ever bought. I seen Welcome to the Jungle once on Mtv, and I had to have the album. One of the best albums of all time, top fifty for me!

I've morphed into a hip-hop head but GnR will always be my favorite artist of all time (maybe tied with Eminem 😉). Commenting before I watch so I hope you enjoy this song as much as I do and I'll enjoy the reaction either way!

I know a lot about this band and its individual members and their history so I will spare you of all the interesting backstory but I'm glad you enjoyed this song as much as I hoped you would :D

Everyone seems to think that GNR were "just" Axl and Slash, yes Axl could sing the back legs off a donkey, and Slash is an absolute god on the guitar, but the rest of the band, the forgotten members, were absolutely fantastic as well and deserve much more credit than they've ever received
