Antipasti Salad
Lettuce Mix
Salami
Shaved Parmesan
Feta
Cherry Tomatoes
Cucumber
Pine Nuts
Salad Dressing:
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon italian seasoning
1 teaspoon dijon mustard
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 tablespoon honey
1 garlic clove, minced
3 tablespoons olive oil
Mix the first 6 ingredients together in a bowl and then ask you whisk, drizzle in the olive oil to emulsify. Let it sit for at least an hour before serving.
Watermelon "Poke" Salad Recipe:
1/2 a mini watermelon (about 4 cups of watermelon), cubed into 1 inch pieces
1 clove mince garlic
1 tsp ginger, minced
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon miso paste (i used white miso)
2 tablespoons yuzu ponzu (or you can sub with soy sauce with a squeeze of lemon juice)
1 scallion, sliced
In a bowl, mix all of the sauce ingredients together, and then pour over the cubed watermelon in a container. Give it a gentle whirl or shake and let it marinate for at least an hour to overnight. If you do it overnight, there will be excess watermelon juice that comes out, so just drain some if you don't like it.
Serve with salad / rice, some sliced cucumbers and radish, avocado, pickled ginger, and garnish with some furikake and your favorite condiments like mayo and sriracha or more of the marinade if you'd like! Totally customizable and delicious!!
Wonton Happiness Salad Recipe:
dressing:
3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons rice vinegar / lime juice
2 tablespoons sesame oil
1 tablespoon honey
2 teaspoons minced ginger
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
In a bowl, combine all the ingredients and give it a mix. You can use this dressing as a marinade for your chicken too. Just air fry the chicken (bone in breast) at 375 for 16-20 minutes depending on size.
For the salad, toss together napa cabbage, romaine lettuce, shredded carrots, cilantro, green onions, the shredded chicken, mandarin oranges, wonton chips, and dressing. Happiness in a bowl!!

That first salad has all the awesome ingredients. I love that everything was thrown in, as that's how I usually make my salads...and end up grazing for hours since it makes so much. LOL! Since learning to like veggies more in high school, I just eat a ton of onions in all forms. Yellow, white, red, green, etc. I eat them raw, cooked, fried, etc. Your pink sundress is so cute!
i’m starting to get used to it raw!! and thanks can u believe it was an amazon score?!
Team Onion! They all look delicious and easy to make. Excited to recreate them at home! 😊👋
Everytime I'm watching your videos, I want to cook something 😍 Absolutely love this vibe and your voice is so calming☺

Good Healthy Salads😎👍
Applebees oriental chicken salad used to be my fav, the last one ✌️
I find pickled red onion is easier to get down then raw. And I make my own.
Definitely #teamonions! It adds so much depth to the taste/flavor
Great video, can't wait to try these! I love your dress, can I ask where it's from? P.S. Definitely team onion!
I love onions! This is the girl that eats onion sandwiches! Remember "to each his own" before you say, "Ewwwwww"! 😊
Same. Love me some onions lol I used to make onion sandwiches too 😋
I love onions too. When I was a kid, my neighbor and I would eat them like apples! 😝
"get it a trader joe's cause who doesn't shop there?" cries in canadian :(
Same... No Trader Joe's in Hawaii either. 🥺😥
The closest a Trader Joe's to me is 75 miles away!
@@mzstephanie84 yea its not in hawaii
No trader Joe's or any american stored in Germany xD
Northern Ireland has never heard of trader joes!
Hi cousin :) Your salads look fantastic - I really love these substantial creative salads! Congrats on 1 million+ subs - you probably received a really nice UA-cam plaque?
oh my gosh!! hi!!! thanks so much! yes we did a few months ago ☺️☺️ hope you and jacqueline are both doing well! 💗💗
@@honeysuckle We just got out of lockdown #5 in Melbourne - Jacqui now locked down in Brisbane. Hope you and your family are all well :) We look forward to the day international travel is back on safely! (Aus international border shut until further notice) You should go on MasterChef btw!
If you ever have a tough time opening a jar (if its new or someone tightened it too much) use a towel (resuable) with texture to hrlp open. It helps grib better than your fingers especially if youve been touching greasy things like the salami.
I have never had artichokes or artichoke hearts. Def been scared to try them. Hear theyre not that good but to each their own. Are they good? What do you eat them with or how do you cook them?
Definitely team onion. Looks delicious.
Came here for the food but also LOVE your outfits!! Could you link them?
Team onion!
I looooove onion in my salad! I will typically soak it in ice water for a bit to take out some of the bite though...I'm a wimp. Lol.
I LOVE raw onions in my salad! ..But my partner doesn’t! ..Their dad (a chef) told me to soak them in cold water for like 15 minutes to mellow it out. You’ve probably already mentioned this 😅
You wouldn't happen to have the recipe for sweet tomatoes' ceasar salad too? 🥺
Definitely team onion!!!
I loveeeee onions
Please more salads
Definitely team red onion in salad 🥗
Definitely team red onion
Would loveee to try this..
Actually, me team both onion and the red one hahahahah..but love the red onion in my salad, it makes my salad appealing ..
The 1st recipe, is ther any other option for the red wine vinegar?what about acv?
acv could def work too!!
@@honeysuckle noted❤️
These all look delicious - great video. Just a quick note re the chicken temp you mentioned, Kenji had a good article about chicken temps, and you actually don't have to cook it to 165°F to be safe. Iirc, 165 is the temp where any bacteria are killed *instantly*, but power temps for longer times will similarly sterilise it! I'll try and find the page again and edit it in, just to show sources lol :) Chicken cooked to a lower temp will be juicier, is all!
Pickled red onions are good in salads.
❤️ from 🇵🇭!!!!
Team Onion 👍🏻 But if I'm taking it to a potluck or serving to guests I rinse in cold water to take out some of the sting 😉
looooove onions, even raw
ゆずぽん美味しいよね
Japanese people love Yuzu Ponzu
Definitely team onion!
I love chopped lettuce 🥬 and I am team no onions it’s so weird I love onion rings or soup but onions alone I dislike so much and the watermelon with the sauce mmm 😋 my family and I have made it before plenty of times so delicious 🤤
Antipasto(Antipasto is the traditional first course)
Variations: Seafood platter; calamari, mussels, smoked salmon, tuna fish, olives, cheese.
Salad Dressing: ????????
This tangy, dijon mustard-and-herb flecked- honey- garlic clove, salad dressing is a favorite in many American restaurants. But “dressing” as Americans know it doesn’t exist in Italy-there, salads are exclusively dressed with oil and vinegar, or sometimes just oil.
OMG I almost ate the screen because that salad 🥗 mmmmmm looks so bomb 💣 lol delicious 🤤 ✨⭐️
heheh it was pretty good.. haha give it a try!!!
Omg I miss Sweet Tomatoes that was my jam
May I know where are the recipes?
Yes to onions!
You should do a video where you collect all the things in your fridge, freezer, pantry, spice drawer that you are wanting to use up or are almost done, and create a meal or two with it all or as much as you can! But not preparing any recipes, just on the spot
that would be an awesome idea!
that might be one of our next videos since i need to clean everything out before we leave!!!
I can’t find the recipe for the salad dressing in the description box 😩
oops!!! adding now!!
I only like red onions in my salad if they’ve been soaked in water to take the harshness of the spice away or another way I like them in my salad is to pickle them really quick it adds another flavor dimension. But straight up raw red onions is a no for me.
Team red onion all the way!
For the red onion, people who dont like it probably had it served wrong. Or should I say prepared wrong.
When cutting red onion you realy realy realy need a sharp knife. a sharp knife cuts trough / past the onion cells leaving a great product.
A dull knife crushes the onion cells making it more bitter and not so nice to eat.
As for how you uswa the red onions, I really like the salads and will give them a try soon. Thanks for the amazing videos !!! Keep it up ...
team red onion for salads!
Team onion for sure, but I put the onion in ice water for a bit first to tone down the flavor~ haha
ooh yea thats a great idea!!
Team onion all the way 🧅
i love raw onion 😋
I miss when you called us "Busy Beez"
team onion!!!!!!
My family and I love onions in our salads and there must be a lot of it, but one of my children does not like tomatoes. I made once a simple salad with onions ,tomatoes and some dressing and he said: “Why did you add the tomatoes? It ruined all the onions!”😁…and he was serious too
Nothing is wrong with seeded vegetables and fruits! Love raw onions in everything!! 1 lettuce is lettuce - many lettuce is lettuce.
Onion is a MUST
i agree!!!
Red onion is epic.
TEAM ONION! 🧅
yeah, no on the onions. I'm allergic. But everything else looks wonderful!
Team onion all the way
when you really thought the watermelon was salmon >.< me too sis
Team #Onion 😗
Definitely team onion but not red onion. We prefer white or Vidalia onion. My salad always have at least 10 differed veggies.
Nappa cabbage? DBZ vibes 😁
"this is one of the salads I feel it the longer it sits the better it tastes"
1 year later ...
#teamOnions
Too much salt 🧂 for me but Im more interested in the salad!!! Thanks for sharing
Team Onion!
I’m only team onion if it’s verrry thinly sliced
Team onions
No onion
your second salad was already on a previous video..
No onions :/
It’s looks like delicious… salame is good for health? I’m not sure. I thing is a processed food no?
its cured meat but there’s no bad additives in the ones we usually get. ☺️
Rather than red onion I’ll use green or shallots but that’s just me 😘
Yeah I dont like raw onions, especially red, but scallions I'll do
Team onion.
All of them look delicious. (I had no idea you were a chef.) Oh btw an onion person raw and cooked from birth.
I gag at the smell of raw onions🥲
Team no red onion, ever. Sorry 😞
Honestly any soy sauce would do. I actually prefer the regular Kung Fu soy sauce as opposed to the Japanese one. Japanese stuff are just packaging and BS promotion to fool people.
I don’t shop and Trader Joe’s
Meat is not considered as healthy😏👎👎👎😪
humans evolved with meat, meat is what our bodies are naturally used too. i'm not saying that being vegetarian cant be healthy, however, meat it not unhealthy. I also wanted to mention that anything can be unhealthy without moderation.
Meat and protein is essential, just try to eat naturally raised meat
Cured meat has the highest carcinogenic rate of all food's. Meat itself isn't unhealthy, like chicken breast or something, but salami, ham or other stuff like that isn't healthy at all. So all of you are wrong
