    I LOVE the variety in your collection! There's so much visual interest, not just a sea of green philodendrons😅

    Hello! I love it, how your plants are like stories in your space. They have a beginning somewhere, continue somewhere and end up elsewhere until the story continues again. I love seeing older plants who have had their ups and downs . They are not looking like jewelry, they live and the story goes on. Had to come and tell this thought to you, hope you have a lovely week! Greetings from Finland!

    Everything is looking lush and stunning. I have to say even the struggling plants are bringing a vibe that makes your collection more relatable than a tour around an unnaturally perfect group. My Hoya Super Silver just gave up and I have no plans what so ever of getting any new Khroniana. I am looking forward to a video on Nepenthes. A friend of mine just sent me a cutting of hers and I have absolutely what to do with it. It is in water right now but I can't even identify a node on this thing. I made the mistake of telling her I had not dipped my toe into carnivorous plants and now I have a huge cutting that I am going to feel absolutely horrible if it dies.

    • @amyadwan
      @amyadwan  Рік тому

      Thank you so much Michael 🌸 That’s definitely what I go for with my collection, it’s not about perfection and more natural that way in my opinion! I think the next video will be on nepenthes so I hope it’s up in time for you - but I have never propagated or gotten a cutting of them 🫠 Does it have roots already? I think the ‘node’ is probably where the leaf comes out of the stem but depends how much you have going on with the cutting maybe 😂

    • @michaelkerley452
      @michaelkerley452 Рік тому +1

      @@amyadwan no roots and my friend says she grows them in half moss and half perlite. It really is making me dig for information but so far nothing is clear. This is going to be one of those things where I am going to have to hope for a happy accident. 😂

    • @amyadwan
      @amyadwan  Рік тому

      Oh shit I don’t think I can help you there 😂 I would assume rooting in water would work if you’re comfortable with that? But yes maybe hoping for the best is all you can do 😂 Fingers crossed for you!

    Great tour! I have a similar setup with metal shelving and “plants gone wild” feel. Looking to style up in 2024 and glad to have found you. Will catch up on your older videos. 😊

    @juliamierzejewska170 7 місяців тому

    Hello, I'm new here and I must say, I love the way you grow your plants. You let them grow wild how they want to grow instead of cutting every single node that doesn't have a leaf (literally everybody does that) and you use natural sticks. You're a lot like me in that regard. That plant corner on the left side was absolutely stunning!! And some of your plants are incredibly big. Like, some of them I've never seen grow that big, especially not kalanchoe. I definitely agree that begonia masoniana is stunning but I also kinda hate mine because it doesn't want to grow, it just drops its leaves. Such a drama queen

    When you grow in leca, you have to use plant fertilizer bc the plant doesnt get the same nutrients it would from soil.

    • @amyadwan
      @amyadwan  Рік тому

      Yes thank you, I think it’s more the care routine that doesn’t suit me as much as growing in soil does!

    @Jayl__ Рік тому +1

    If your leca plants isn’t doing so well it’s probably you let the reservoir dry out or nutrient issue. What nutrients are you using? Still give it a try!

    • @amyadwan
      @amyadwan  Рік тому

      Definitely a nutrient issue I would say, I don’t give enough - I think in general the leca life just doesn’t suit me, and will be moving away from it in the future 😅

    I haven't finished the tour but loving every bit of it so far. I have a question about my jade plant tht has recently had a filmy white "fungus" growing on it. What can I do for it?

    • @amyadwan
      @amyadwan  Рік тому

      Thank you so much 🤍✨ You could treat with rubbing alcohol gently and see if this gets rid of it. Also try to keep the leaves / soil a bit more dry for a period of time which may help it to die off?

    18:35, omg in that clip I see the same bugs I have on my plants and been trying to figure out what are they… one looks like silver springtails and the other ones are more thick. I dont know how harmful they are or anyhthing about them. Do you have any advice pls?🙏🏽😭

    • @amyadwan
      @amyadwan  Рік тому

      Well springtails are harmless to your plants, they are actually the good bugs! They will keep your soil healthy… as for the other ones, they might be soil mites. Which again are great for soil and help keep the balance. If these are what they are you have nothing to worry about! Try your best to identify them anyway and if the plants are healthy this is a great sign 🙌🏼
