I also just started watching your Hoya videos and so sad to hear what you and your family are going through. My prayers will be with you during this time. I will watch all your videos and make sure I watch through all your comercials and hope this will help you during this stressful time. I will look for you on instagram so I will see when you give birth. This is such a special time and so sad you are dealing with such strife. Everyday I find it so hard to believe that the world is still dealing with war that only bring heartache and loss. Take care and best wishes and prayers for you and your new baby.

Amy I wish you all the best….i won’t pray for you because I stopped praying as a solution sometime ago, praying doesn’t work ….it is hard to understand how people that engage in praying can one day pray for you and the next bomb the heck out of you…religions don’t work at all….maybe they can make you feel better sometimes but in general they are the cause of a lot of pain and suffering….love for one another works better….as you know we had an election here in our good old USA and the Muslims voted for a man that has denigrated their religion, talked about them as though they are animals…..I think the Muslim Americans should take some responsibility for what happens to the Palestinians….Amy wherever you are in the Middle East or better yet outside of the Middle East I wish you the best with your baby….

Hi Amy! I love reports and seeing the plants up close and personal. I finished my repot list except for my large Clivia. I love the decorative clay pot it's in but it has so many offsets I'll have to break it - I know cause I tried to get it out. Soo....after she blooms in the Spring. My hubby is going to have to get in on the fun! 😊 She's huge and heavy! Your plants look great!

I’m relatively new to Hoya & have been growing in plastic pots, soil or pon…I can never get the watering right & any healthy roots just die off, the terracotta pots seem like a good idea. Have u grown in both & do you have a comparison video that would be good to watch? Thank you x

Hi Amy. A video on biomes would be great and I look forward to better understanding the term. I love the begonia no ID, it's such an eye-catching plant. I was browsing a plant nursery website this morning and very nearly bought the maculata but am concerned that I can't provide the high humidity that it prefers. Our living room gets up to about 60 percent but not too often, the info on the website said about 70 percent is preferable but as well as all that I can't accommodate a climber. Thanks for showing us your September favourites and especially the extra information you've researched about each plant.

Just watched the 'Summer Houseplant Tour 2024,' and I can't decide if I need to adopt more plants or just move into their lush paradise! 🌿🌞 At this point, I’m pretty sure my houseplants are more popular than I am! 😂 Time to start taking tips on how to throw a summer party from them!

Hibiscus also has so many cool benefits: leaves can be used to make natural hair conditioner, it can be used for plant dyeing, and yes, making tea - but only special kind rosella hibiscus is edible 🌺 I'm planning to move from tropics to the uk and was worried about losing access to this special plant. So happy it can survive in northern climate too 🙏 thank you for sharing!

What i don't get about extrafloral nectaries is that what it would seem like 7/10 the pests are aphids and most ants will readily milk them, so they end up drinking from the nectaries and the aphids so the plant is losing on all sides... maybe they just stop producing nectar when this happens idk.

what type of lighting do you use?

I'm new to all this jungle look thing and on a mission to junglify my humble little flat in tropical Yorkshire. lol. Which is funny considering how, for years, I called my flat a plant hospice... where healthy plants come to die. :D All, of course, because I knew burger all about houseplants. After intensive research I've learned my mistakes and it's game on. I have a question though. How much of that gorgeous leaf size is down to the support thing and how much is down to grow lights and fertilisation/feeding? Oh and btw... love the accent... where's it from? I hear Irish but I keep thinking I hear American-ish.. sort of. :D
