Shrimp and fancy fest seafood and live crayfish are what mine go crazy for
Caiman lizards are one of the coolest lizards and animals ever!
No Brasil tem dessa espécie na Amazônia e no Pantanal
Great video, man. In regards to the snail thing, I knew a guy who had a caiman lizard for seven or eight years, he said that he went to Asian grocery stores and was able to get high-quality snails. Some with the shell some without. So anyone considering one, that might be an option
Yes that is an option but it can be just as inconsistent as reptile shops. You can even order them online but usually end up dying on route and spoil.
Good video my man💪 but you forgot to mention that they also do need sweet fruits once in a while, but as you say, do a really good search on how to keep them. Keep up the good work 👍
You’re correct. But when I spoke to a guy in the uk who gets them in alot he said that it’s not good for them other than very infrequently and that they can have a hard time getting them to eat anything else and that people loose them because of it. Anecdotal I know but that is why I left it out because I know 2 people personally that that happens to
@@JzsReptiles okay thanks for the information 👍 I will get a pair in mid september 😁 I am almost done with the inclosure, just need to install the aquarium. It is 8 feet long 7 feet high and 5 feet deep. The aquarium is 7 feet long and 2 feet high and 2 feet deep, it a 600 liters, and there will be freshwater clamps in it to help the pump filtering the water
@@bothorvardarson1321 very nice. Beats the 40 gallon people shove into their cages by a mile
Sooo random question I know everyone says never to mix animals but zoos do I. If I have a huge tank with 850 gallons of water I know I can have fish with them but would full grown milk tree frog live ok with then caiman lizard? Both from the Amazon.. not breading any of them just a personal home set up
Good chance the lizard may try to eat the frog.
Are they able to live in an enclosure without the water feature?
They really need it
Very cool!
