Hi Clint, long time viewer, first time commenter. I had a Timor monitor for 8 years. Paid $65 for a sub adult of "unknown origins" (read: definitely imported). I just wanted to mention that with regular work, mine became a sweetheart to handle. I would walk around the house with her perched on my shoulder, she was about as calm as a leopard gecko. Clint, brother hear me out have you ever seen a African rock Monitor? Very Very cool! See I come from South Africa and even though the Nile monitor which also resides in SA is cool but obviously very big and often bad tempered, the Rock monitor is half its size and quite not very easy but surprisingly tamale and great pets. You have to be a reptile person though! For its size they are very chilled and actually playfully. My grandma use to have 3 and they were quite lauded back and almost Dogg like in personality. Have a nice day
