That's a really cool way to set up the upside down vase!
Just letting people know:
Don't make a water tower for
laberynth fish: Bettas, Gouramis etc.
They go to the top to breath air and in that water tower observation fish tower, they won't be able to go to the top and receive their air from the surface.

Great video 👍 i have a diy 30 gal tote pond with a waterfal feature made out of a windowsill planter with pothos as my filter and a lot of water lettuce. Gravel on the bottom and in the waterfall for beneficial bacteria growth. A large log for tannis and some water grass/lillies attached to it.
I like your setup using a pot it's easy on the eyes

How do you have your HOB filter set up? Are you using the cartridges made for it or did you add your own media?
Kenisha Leonard I use the cartridges for it it’s just a hang on back one from Walmart

You don't plant anubias, you can tie or superglue it to a rock but the Rhizome cannot be covered. I killed other rhizome plants not knowing this. What most people do is wedge it between rocks, I've tied mines down and superglued my anubias barteri died(or is dying I only see stems now and is in an actual co2 tank) this is the one I had "planted" it's still green so I may be able to bring it back but it's not looking good. The nana petite variant I just wedge between hardscape I been meaning to propagate but the little bushes it's grown into look nice in my 20G long.

What is the filter you bought called ? I’m trying to look for it at Walmart
katie Laguna it’s the whisper filter it’s like the common one they sell but I actually recommend a sponge filter of the correct size from life with pets .com , also the bigger the tub is the easier to maintains bc there’s less algae and build up goodluck and thanks for enjoying ❤️
Its their brand, "Aquaculture" and they are pieces of s**t that use those throwaway cartridges that you are "suppossed to" change every month, thus crashing your tank and you have to re-cycle all over sgain which is why fish die, which is the whole point to get you back to store tp keep buying more, and so on. Please dont build this for fish. Its too small, stressful for them and has no biological filtration...especially guppies that while small...breed like crazy. As a decor piece fine, but animals are not "decor". THIS is a patio diy pond...

Glass magnifies but does not magnetize (the fish). Glass can be magnetized but that's something else altogether.

It wasn't clear how you sucked out the air ? I see the tube, and then the water rising, but the method that was either sucking the air out or pulling the air out, was off-screen.
Per Shop I sucked it out with my mouth lol sorry that wasn’t clear ! But yes I sucked it out fast as I could!
