Make your own Dice Tower // Scrap wood from the attic!

A dice tower is a handy tool for your various games that require many dice. It shakes, rattles, and rolls them down the tower chute to the tray below, keeping them contained on the table. This dice tower was made from a piece of red oak that was found in the garage attic. It was a surprisingly nice piece of lumber - I milled it up into planks and constructed the dice tower with mitered corners and glue.

What were the rough dimensions you used for the tower?

The individual pieces ended up being about 7.5" tall and 4" square. Those sizes were really quite arbitrary.
