This is the best modeling tutorial I've ever seen. After your lessons, many of my mistakes I made during modeling, became clear to me. And most importantly, I understood how to fix them. You're a great teacher, Juliana! Thank you very much for your videos!
First off: I love you. Found you from a suggested Facebook post. You’re beautifully insane with your precision. I love it. I’m a detail person; this is the first of your “tutorial” videos I’ve watched. You’re fantastic. About to do a build/sculpture and you are an awesome help in subtle ways you don’t even know. Thank you.
You're a God-send! I've been asking these questions for many years - symmetry, clay use, support underneath. Thank you SO much - now I'm going to get started again! I've had a project on hold for many years because of my lack of knowledge AND having four kids that kept me way too busy :)
Quel travail remarquable ! Au début je trouvais cela un peu glauque...mais finalement on y apprend beaucoup de choses vous êtes douée et patiente...🌷🍀🌻🍁🌿🌹☘💐🍃🌺🌿🌷
Absolutely beautiful techniques Juliana, thankyou for your upload, I have subscribed. Please can you tell me how you make the eyeballs? I may be wrong but I'm assuming the skull is cast from a mould of an initial skull template sculpture for size consistency for all your faces? Lastly could you please list the tools used here particularly the ball tipped ones and the hooked tool. Thanks again.
Hi Tino, I have all those explanations on the intro video... have you seen the playlist with all the tutorials? ua-cam.com/play/PLQNLr9jcY-O3s4xIqWNcmPXXEadU9lhTN.html The products I use can be found on JLS store website, they have the skeletons, molds for you to make your own skeletons etc jlsstore.com
Hi, I'm tryin out modelling with clay for the first time sine i was 7 wondering should I try and get the model finished and baked as soon as cuz mine keep gettin dirty if I leave them to come back to them
Pv clay is a brand of polymer, there are lots of different brands, PV is from Brasil... it's my favorite because it's way more resistant then the other ones after baked.
Why do you have to use a prefab skull? Isnt it better to develop your skills in seeing the skull within the ball of clay in your hands? Does that make sense? This isnt a criticism, but rather, a question.
I hope you can help me, Juliana. I am using polymer clay to sculpt a fairly large bust, I started with the foil and began it as a papier mache’ sculpture, but decided I wanted the detail of polymer clay, so am covering it with that. Everything is fine on the face. The problem is a long crack where the hairline separates for the forehead. I have added more clay, but later the crack begins to appear. I think there must be air under the clay causing the problem. Do you have any ideas about this? Thank you very much
you can open the crack a bit more and fill it up with apoxie clay, leaving a space to complete with polymer clay after, I show how to do that on my native class, her dress was also cracking!
I wish you would do Vin Diesel sculpt head. Every thing that is out there looks nothing like him. Same for Sylvester Stallone , people can't get his eye shape correct. While you are at it lol, Angelina Jolie yes ten to look dark from far away and people seem to make them so light making HER not look like her.

Thank you for the anatomy tips! especially the nose placement. Starting it between the eyes changed everything :)

Why do you need a skull to sculpt a head? Isn't it easier to just make a ball and start adding features to it?
What clay you used it for skin?? Pls pls answerme .. is sculpey doll??

Theresa Is cool 😎
yea
Where can i get the skeleton figures that u use??
Where from this type of clay ? Plz rply 😀
In real life the skull of every person has its own shape, do you take that into account or do you use standard skulls?
I use standard skulls, and fix the shape carving the skull if I need, or just with the clay
Me gustaría si fuera en español .... T_T pero esta súper 😊😊😊😊
Why do you have to use a prefab skull? Isnt it better to develop your skills in seeing the skull within the ball of clay in your hands? Does that make sense? This isnt a criticism, but rather, a question.
where did you buy from the clay
Alguien sabe el nombre de la masa que ocupa? Does anyone know what the mass it occupies is called?
