Thank you so much for posting this video. I have been dealing with this for longer than I will admit, and now I finally have been able to get it changed out BY MYSELF. You're video was a huge help, thank you, thank you, thank you
Beaters0311, I loved your video to change the 2013 actuator. But I have a suggestion..... if it’s a 200S you have about 3” less room to replace the right sided one because there’s an amp built in there. I’m a 46 year old female and I was able to do it but you have much less room if it’s a sports model. You basically need a mirror and you have to feel your way....Thank you for your help! Job done!
I found out a more simple access path. Remove the vent. Unscrew a single screw which attaches to vent sleeve and it easily removes. Then you have straight access to the actuator. Cheers
Those lil screws.. are the worst to get off and on from the side! I recommend a small magnetized screw driver. Or maybe attach a lil magnet to the screw driver to hold the screw
Hi, Thank you for an informative video. Any idea how to replace the same part at driver side (behind the steering) blend door actuator for the 2012 200 model?
So I followed you to the t. But I've some problems. 1, my actuator wasn't attached to anything but the wires. Took off the dust cover and it was just free hangin. 2) I think I misdiagnosed my issue. When I turn the air on it only blows on my feet. Cant get air to change direction. Thoughts?
I fixed mine myslf. They are easy to take apart. Drill and put a bolt trough. There are marks on thhe back to line up keyway. Its better than new. 70.00 bucks for a new one. Didnt cost me a dime.
@@garryharris3777 it was a reguler steel bolt. 1/8 approx 1 1/2" long. It was 10 months ago now. I never had any problems sense. It will probably out last the car.

What size bolt did you use? Was it steel or brass?

@@Steve-np3up I just did it today using a 8-32 X 1-1/4 screw and nut. I drilled out the gear and case with 11/64 drill bit. No special tools needed.
@@garryharris3777 good job. Its not hard to do at all.
@@Steve-np3up Thanks for the idea.
WHERE'S THE END
Where is the Third one at?
hell yeah great job bro.
Hey it cut off
I have no heat but heater core is fine and none of the actuators are making any noise.... any ideas?
Try changing thermostat temperature needle isn't moving up.
The dealership charged my wife 400.00 to fix that BS.
Steven Newton that’s why you don’t go to the dealership dumbass go to a local mechanic where there not poking your eyes
