  • We had a clicking sound from under the dash of the 2013 Chrysler 200. One of the actuator motors that works with the vent/ac system had an issue. So, we replaced it. Come join us and see. Please Subscribe if you haven't already. Thanks! We appreciate you!

I've had to change all three of mine, 2 behind glovebox and 1 above and to the right of the gas peddle.

I feel for ya! Doing the one was bad enough for me. They’re a pain, in my opinion.

On some of that generation 200 and avenger if you pop out the dash vent and remove the air tube, you have a pretty straight shot at it rom above.

Thanks! I'll have to double check that as I have another one (or the same one) acting up again. It's a pain in the rear! My best angle for that one at the time was to remove the glove box and come in from below. I'm 6'3" long arms... makes for cramped and awkward positions. LOL

Of course they go the cheapest route of making these things.

Mine doesn’t click. But only my two right vents blow cold air and my two on the drivers side are hot. Which actuator should I replace?

As I state in my videos, I'm not a mechanic. I am just doing what I have to in order to save some $$. A google search can probably help you. On the diagram it's probably the "mode actuator door." There's also the possibility of a clog in the vent line. If it were me, I would try to check for a clog first.
